Recylex SA engages in recycling lead and plastic from automobile and industrial batteries; recycling zinc from electric steel plates; and the production of zinc oxides and special metals for the electronics industry. It produces lead in the form of ingots of metal or alloys from recycling of used batteries, as well as processes lead secondary materials, including lead metallic parts from batteries and lead pipe waste; zinc oxide and zinc dust, and waelz oxide; polypropylene compounds from the recycling of post-industrial and consumer waste; and special metals, such as antimony, arsenic, cadmium, cadmium telluride, copper, gallium, germanium and germanium compounds, indium and indium compounds, lead, tellurium, tin, titanium tetrachloride, and zinc metals, which are primarily used by the computer manufacturers, mobile phone manufacturers, and solar energy and optoelectronic industries. The Company produces zinc oxides through its subsidiary Norzinco GmbH. C2P SAS and C2P GmbH, the Company's subsidiaries, specialize in the production of polypropylene granules from recycled used battery units. PPM Pure Metals GmbH and its subsidiary Reinstmetalle Osterwieck GmbH produce special metals for use in the optical, electronics and photovoltaic industries. As of December 31, 2010, Recylex SA operates mainly in France, Germany and Belgium through its subsidiaries, including Delot Metal SA, Fonderie et Manufacture de Metaux SA, Recylex Commercial SAS and Harz-Metall GmbH, among others.The company operates principally in France, Germany, Belgium, and Algeria. Recylex SA was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Paris, France.
