Founded in 1997, NewMarket Technology joined the dot-com era as a systems integrator and reseller. With the dot-com bust in 2001, the management team, led by Mr. Verges, was left looking for a way to turn around slumping sales. This led to the founding of the Company's innovative business plan to provide financing to emerging technologies. In the article, Verges discusses how the company completed a reverse merger with an OTCBB company and used the capital from the public company to raise funds to acquire and invest in emerging technology products and services.
