Trans World Corporation Stock to Split Effective April 5, 2004

NEW YORK, Apr 2, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Trans World Corporation ("TWC" or the "Company") announced that the one (1) for one hundred (100) reverse stock split of its authorized and issued shares of common stock, $0.001 par value per share (the "Common Stock"), with all fractional shares being rounded up to the next whole share, will be effective on April 5, 2004. On that date, the Common Stock will commence trading on the over-the-counter market under the new symbol "TWOC."
The effect of the reverse stock split will be to split down all authorized and issued shares of Common Stock, such that every one hundred (100) shares outstanding at the close of business on April 2, 2004 (the record date) will be automatically converted into one (1) share when the markets open on April 5, 2004 (the payment date). On the payment date, the Company's authorized shares of Common Stock will decrease from 950,000,000 to 9,500,000, and its issued and outstanding shares will decrease from 503,145,175 to approximately 5,032,000.
Holders of record of TWC Common Stock will be required to exchange their pre-split share certificates for new post-split share certificates. Shortly after the record date, TWC will mail to all holders of record a letter of transmittal to be used to send in the old certificates. Please do not send any certificates to the Company now. Nach dem Split gibts sehr wenig Aktien am Markt, ich empfehle diesen Wert zu beobachten. Das Volumen ist recht dünn.(5,032,000 Shares)
Was dabei passieren kann, haben wir ja bei BIOA gesehen. Von 2,25 über 50 USD! Danach beginnen die neue Aktien irgendwann auf dem Markt zu schmeißen und der Kurs wird wieder verwässert. Mal schauen, wann es losgeht?
