STANS ENERGY ANNOUNCES CORPORATE UPDATE
Stans Energy Corp. has created the office of the chief financial officer, with company chief operating officer, Boris Aryev, serving as interim chief financial officer pending hiring of a permanent CFO. Mr. Aryev will be assisted by two financial consultants: Douglas Varty, a former partner at KPMG retained to assist with the company's third quarter 2013 and year-end filings, and Lena Masters of Administrative Services Corp.
The company also announces that Jonathan Buick tendered his resignation as a director on Jan. 14, 2014.
Rodney Irwin, president and chief executive officer, went on to state: "We would like to thank Mr. Buick for his insight and contributions while he served on the board of directors. We wish him continued success in his future endeavours. We are also pleased to have Ms. Masters, our former CFO, assisting the company through this transition period."
