SPRIDER STORES S.A. ist eine Textilladenkette, hauptsächlich bekannt auf dem Balkan, die mehrheitlich zu Hatzioannou (WKN: 553179 ; ISIN: GRS290063007) gehört. Der Thread hier beginnt mit keiner guten Nachricht zuerst. Das Hauptquartier der Firma, sowie das Warenhaus der Gesellschaft in Anthousa, ist nach Brandstiftung am Morgen des 13. Februar 2012 abgebrannt. Die Gesellschaft gibt bekannt, der der Schaden anscheinedn durch Versicherungen gedeckt sein soll.

THE HEADQUARTERS AND WAREHOUSES OF SPRIDER STORES IN ANTHOUSA WERE BURNED DOWN  
SPRIDER STORES Group informs the investment community that on Monday morning the headquarters and warehouses of SPRIDER STORES in Anthousa were burned down as a result of arson attack. The fire has caused severe damages.
At present the company is unable to assess the economic impact of this fire on Group’s results.
SPRIDER STORES headquarters as well as the warehouses that are located at the same place were fully insured pursuant to the group’s standard insurance coverage plan.
In any case, the Group, upon completion of the evaluation procedures, will promptly inform the investing public with a new announcement.

Gesellschaft nicht in der Lage, den bis zum 24. Mai 2012 geforderten Jahresfinanzbericht 2011 rechtzeitig zu erstellen, da auch entsprechende Unterlagen vernichtet wurden. Zahlen gibt es deshalb zu einem späteren, noch anzukündigenden Termin.

Das Grundkapital der Gesellschaft setzt sich derzeit (nach reverse split vom 3. März 2011) wie folgt zusammen:
EUR 23.363.394,00, eingeteilt in 26.262.660 Stammaktien, zum Nennwert EUR 0,90.

General Meeting of the company's shareholders held on Monday December 27, 2010 approved, among other issues of the daily agenda, the increase of the share’s par value from EUR 0.30 to EUR 0.90 via the reverse split of its 78,787,980 of par value EUR 0.30 each common registered voting shares to 26,262,660 common registered voting shares of par value EUR 0.90 each, which were issued pro rata one (1) new share in replacement of three (3) existing shares. Following the above, the company’s share capital still amounts to EUR 23,363,394.00 divided into 26,262,660 common registered voting shares of par value EUR 0.90 each."
