Ein Datum für Projektabschluss in Spanien ist mir leider auch nicht bekannt. Ich würde aber schätzen, dass der auf Januar, mit Glück sogar noch auf Dezember getimt ist... .

In October, OPEL said that, together with its Spanish partner BETASOL (which builds utility-grade solar farm installations for subsequent sale to investor groups), its subsidiary OPEL Solar Inc had grid-connected the third 110kW phase of its utility-grade photovoltaic power plant in the Tarragona region of northern Spain. This brings the plant's installed electricity-generating capacity to 330kW of the targeted 440kW, allowing for sale to a third party. The solar farm is one of the first operable solar grid fields in the world using OPEL’s HCPV panel technology, and will supply electricity to over 350 households when fully completed.

“With our Spanish installation now successfully generating utility-scale solar power, we can focus our attentions to closing and delivering on our new quoting activities in addition to continuing to deliver on our overall goals,” says McCoy.

The quarter saw increases in quoting activity for HCPV panels and tracker systems, as well as in the size of the projects being quoted. In early November, just after the close of the quarter, OPEL filed for a cash payment of $179,000, awarded as part of the US Department of Energy and Treasury Department program under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA). The award is in recognition of the development and installation of one of Connecticut’s first rooftop tracking solar power systems, completed by OPEL Solar in March. The installation generates 131kW of power, supplying up to 20% of the electricity needs of the Linden Elementary School in Plainville, CT. The firm was also awarded a grant by the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) for the installation.

OPEL adds that its balance sheet remains in a strong liquidity position, with no debt.

Ich bin gespannt in wie weit dann auch Mal die PR-Trommel (Tarragona) gerührt wird. Irgendwie hat man das Gefühl, als ob sie nicht an Medienrummel interessiert sind, oder es nicht für nötig halten. Da muss viel mehr passieren um seine Neuartigen Produkte zu vermarkten/vorzustellen, oder wie siehst Du das, andere Firmen schlafen doch auch nicht. Also wenn ich so ein Revolutionäres System hätte, dann würde ich auch keine Kosten für Werbung etc. sparen um das Projekt bekannt und noch bekannter zu machen, in der Hoffnung Investoren zu bekommen.

sicherlich hast du Recht damit, dass Opel anfangen muss die Werbetrommel zu rühren. Das Problem an dem ganzen ist in meinen Augen aber einfach, dass zur Zeit nicht viel zu rühren ist. Wir sprechen von Solarkraftwerken.... . Opel International hat noch keine großen Projekte abgeschlossen. Und ich denke es ist nicht einfach in der Branche Investoren zu finden, wenn es kaum bzw. in Europa noch KEINE Referenzprojekte gibt. Womit willst du werben? Damit das du einen hohen Wirkungsgrad hast? Sicher ein schlagkräftiges Argument, aber in der Investitionsliga sicher nur die halbe Überzeugungsarbeit.

Ich glaube, dass OPEL International mit dem Tarragona-Projekt als Referenz erst die Möglichkeit hat Investoren zu überzeugen. Die europäische Aufstellung mit den neuen Kooperationspartnern zeigt mir, dass sich OPEL Int. damit rechnet schon bald Fuss auf dem europäischen Markt zu fassen. 

Es wird sich zeigen wie die Resonanz auf das Tarragona-Projekt ist. Uns wird ein Anschluss-Projekt in Aussicht gestellt, das ein 5,4-faches des Tarragona-Volumens beträgt....lass uns hoffen, dass das klappt! ;)

...naja... man kann ja schon erkennen das kaum Papiere über den Tisch gehen. Mal 100000 oder mal 200000. Da sieht man ja schon das viele ihre Papiere nicht hergeben wollen zu den Preisen! Also für mich persönlich ist die Aktie mehr wert und für viele Andere ebenfalls. Also ruhig Blut und abwarten. Das wird schon. Da bin ich mir sicher.
