IBM and PLAUT develop joint IT solution packages
IBM-Deutschland/Global Partner Management SAP - IBM® and official SAP partner PLAUT have teamed to develop advanced IT solutions that can be implemented quickly and cost-effectively for all areas of the Manufacturing, Distribution, Service Provider and Real Estate industries. WORKS-industry solutions target small and midsize companies, such as manufacturers, commercial enterprises or service businesses. WORKS-industry solutions are offered as complete solution packages at an attractive fixed price. They are based on mySAP.com and include a predefined number of SAP users as well as consulting services, training and hardware and database platforms (for example, IBM eServer xSeries and DB2).
Headquartered in Munich, PLAUT relies on IBM eServer xSeries during the development and testing of each software solution. And when implemented, the application is also hosted by an IBM eServer xSeries and DB2. In PLAUTs? Munich datacenter more than 20 eServer xSeries are installed alongside pSeries and iSeries servers.
The IT solution package is especially attractive for small-to-medium-sized enterprises since the fixed price gives a precise value for the investment, while the economical leasing and financing arrangements available from IBM Global Financing make it manageable. For example, PLAUT is marketing a complete starter pac for the medical industry for euro 158.500 ($143.16 U.S.) or euro 319 ($288.12 U.S.) per user per month in an IBM financing bid.
IBM and PLAUT are extending their partnership internationally with the unique IBM eServer xSeries and IBM DB2 UniWorld program, which was created by IBM especially for SAP partners. This program consists of campaigns that are focused on the specific audiences and show high success rates for the joint business.
