CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - March 17, 2008) - Pacific Lottery Corporation (TSX VENTURE:LUK - News; the "Corporation") is pleased to provide the following corporate update.

The Corporation has completed several tasks since its last update:
1. The construction of the new Computer Operations centre in Vietnam is now completed. The extensive upgrading and retrofitting of the Computer Operations Centre in Vietnam will ensure that the Corporation's latest "state of the art" proprietary Lottery technology will be properly housed during the 10 year operational term of the new Vietnamese Lottery program.
2. The sophisticated and customised IBM Central Server equipment that will provide the infrastructure backbone for the new Vietnamese On-line Lottery Central System was recently shipped and has already been delivered to Vietnam. At present this system is undergoing installation. In general, commencement of operations can begin shortly after completion of the installation process, which includes among other tasks, communications network link up and user acceptance testing by the customer and the Corporation's technical personnel.
3. The Corporation's technical staff has begun the set up, installation and multi-connection process of the new Central System technology.
4. The Corporation has been advised by the Vietnamese Lottery Authority that it has completed the identification, suitability review and sign up of the initial complement of new retailers for this phase of the new lottery program. The Corporation is ready to deliver its proprietary Lottery Terminals to the retailers as retailer shops are established and completed. As well, immediately after installation of the new Terminals in approved retailer locations, retailer marketing training will begin.
5. The Corporation is pleased to announce that ramping up of the technical staff both in Canada and Vietnam has continued. Additional senior technical staff has recently been deployed to Vietnam to assist with work on various aspects of the Lottery operational implementation and installation program. On the technology side they encompass additional software programming and hardware specialty support services. On the operational side, the staff are currently involved in various training activities and marketing programs preparations that will be used by both retailers and Vietnamese Lottery officials immediately prior to, and post launch of the new Vietnamese lottery program.
6. Pre-launch Marketing activities have begun. The marketing program will include (but is not limited to) promotion of the basic Vietnamese Lottery brand as well as education and promotion of the new 8 individual games that will be offered as part of the new Vietnamese Lottery program.
Overall the Corporation is pleased with the significant achievements to date and is looking forward to continuing progress towards new operational accomplishments in the weeks, months and years ahead.
