announced today the election of Dr. Claude Piaget to a one year term on the
Company's Board of Directors.

Dr. Piaget has broad and diversified experience in the electronics
industry. From 1997 to 2000, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Senior
Vice President for International Relations of Digital Video Broadcasting, an
international consortium involved in the promotion of unified standards for
digital television. Prior to 1997, Dr. Piaget served in several executive
positions for Philips Electronics, including service from 1986 to 1994 as a
development manager, from 1994 to 1995 as a company strategy expert, and from
1995 to 1997 as a market development manager. Prior to 1986, he was engaged as
an industrial research engineer in various research positions for Philips
Research, which was involved in research pertaining to semiconductor physics,
components, devices and systems. He has participated in the development of
information and communication technologies and consortiums in Europe, Asia
Pacific and Latin America. Dr. Piaget holds a Masters degree in Physics
Engineering and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Paris.
