Connection Logistics Holding, Inc. (OTCBB:CRGO) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Mid-Coast Management, Inc., has changed its name to Cargo Connection Logistics - International, Inc. to better reflect its current business focus.
Mid-Coast Management, Inc. was initially set up to provide warehouse and distribution services for the company on behalf of its domestic retail customers. The newly named company will now focus its attention on the international arena with its primary focus being to secure business from world-wide shipping origins. Its initial focus will be on the Pacific-Asian Rim.
The Company said Jesse Dobrinsky, CEO of Cargo Connection Logistics will be traveling to the Asian Rim by the end of the month. The Company has the ability to provide the computer backbone for operations in the Asian Rim which will allow other businesses in these countries to provide their customers with a sophisticated solution to their logistics needs, including tracking, tracing and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) utilizing the Cargo Connection Logistics' system.
"Up until now we have always focused our sales efforts within the United States," said Dobrinsky. "However, a significant portion of merchandise coming into the United States is controlled from foreign origins. This is our first foray into foreign countries for business development and it will be accomplished through some of the Company's recently announced joint ventures."
