Celebrating the Women of Aurelia in Science

Today marks the 10th annual International Day of Women and Girls in Science. And today – like every day – we’re celebrating the meaningful impact of women’s participation in scientific roles across our industry.

Enshrined as a day to recognise the enormous potential of increasing female participation in STEM roles, we at Aurelia stand behind the inspiring Aurelian women in these fields across our Group and are applauding their contribution to our future successes.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, and Chair of our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, Bryan Quinn spoke about the significance of the day and how we are dedicated to solidifying our diverse and inclusive workplace.

“At Aurelia, we’re committed to diversity and to enshrining the ideals of equity and inclusion across our workforce. To ensure everyone is treated fairly, respected and can contribute to our long-term business success. I have seen first-hand how an inclusive and diverse workforce increases productivity and strengthens culture. This is why I’m proud to Chair our Company’s DEI Committee,” Bryan said.

“Today we acknowledge and celebrate the significant contribution of women working in scientific fields at Aurelia. I want to thank them, along with our entire workforce, for their ongoing contribution to ensuring that we fill our mills with the base metals that will power the future,” Bryan concluded.

March Quarter FY25 Results

26.04.25 11:40
March Quarter FY25 Results

On 23 April 2025, we released our March quarter FY25 results to the market.

Highlights from the quarter included a very strong production and cost performance, the continued ramp up of mining at Federation, the approval of the Great Cobar Project investment and an increase in cash balance by A$10M.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Bryan Quinn spoke about the results.

“During the March quarter, we have continued our strong operational performance, achieved several significant milestones at Federation and have increased our cash position. Importantly, our focus on safety continues a quarter-on-quarter improvement in our TRIFR,” Bryan said.

“Production highlights include 95.6% recoveries in gold produced and 877m in development performance at Federation which are both key value drivers for our business.

“Peak also continued its strong cash generation during FY25 which, in this quarter, more than funded our investments in growth at Federation and in Exploration. This strengthened our balance sheet with cash of $106.7M, an increase from $96.7M at the end of September quarter.

“Our growth in the Cobar Region was strengthened during the quarter with the approval of the water processing and treatment upgrade project, haulage of 600kt of ore from Federation to Peak. Additionally, our Board approved the Great Cobar Project early in the June quarter. The approval of Great Cobar represents an exciting strategic pivot for the business to increase copper production from the Peak Mines from 2028.

“Looking to the end of FY25, our focus will remain on safely delivering our guidance targets, ramping up Federation production, commencing approved growth projects and accelerating exploration at the Federation north extension. Our teams will also be finalising other project studies related to the growth journey to deliver the 1.1-1.2Mt in the medium term,” Bryan concluded.

Aurelia Announces Exciting Expansion

Aurelia Announces Exciting Expansion in the Cobar Basin
On 2 June 2026, Aurelia announced it had strengthened its exploration position in the highly prospective Cobar Basin, securing access to new ground through an earn-in agreement with Legacy Minerals and the grant of two additional exploration licences in the Nymagee District.

The agreement with Legacy Minerals provides Aurelia with a pathway to earn a majority interest in Exploration Licences EL9511 and EL9858, which extend along the western boundary of Aurelia’s existing tenement package near the Peak Operation. The tenements cover a significant structural corridor considered highly prospective for Cobar-style mineralisation.

The earn-in agreement allows Aurelia to earn a 51% interest by spending $0.5 million on exploration over the first two years, with the opportunity to increase its interest to 90% through further exploration expenditure over five years.

The agreement complements the recent grant of Exploration Licences EL9898 (Glenwood) and EL9899 (Barton), further enhancing Aurelia’s exploration presence across the Cobar Basin.

Aurelia’s Chief Development and Technical Officer, Andrew Graham spoke of how these additions strengthen Aurelia’s strategic landholding and support the Company’s long-term exploration strategy.

“The exploration earn-in agreement with Legacy Minerals expands our strategic footprint in the highly prospective Cobar Basin. Coupled with our newly granted licences, these new tenements enhance our position along key structural corridors and strengthen our target pipeline for Cobar-style mineralisation.”

“This initiative aligns with our strategy of building a deep and exciting pipeline of exploration opportunities to fuel our growth pipeline, as we did with the successful discovery and delivery of Federation,” Andrew said.

June Quarter 2026 Results On 20 July 2026l

25.07.26 14:14
June Quarter 2026 Results

On 20 July 2026, we released our June Quarter 2026 results to the market.

We were pleased to report a strong finish to FY26, with gold production exceeding the top end of revised guidance, strong operating cash flow and a further strengthening of the Company’s balance sheet.

The June quarter saw gold production reach 15.3koz, contributing to total FY26 gold production of 50.4koz, above revised guidance of 45–50koz. Base metal production, operating costs and capital expenditure were all delivered in line with guidance.

Federation increased mined tonnes and delivered significantly higher grades, while the Peak Processing Plant achieved a record quarterly throughput of 230kt. Growth projects also continued to progress in line with plan, with advancement of the Great Cobar Project and ongoing work to expand processing capacity at Peak.

The quarter also delivered Aurelia’s highest quarterly operating cash flow since 2018, with Cobar Region operating cash flow reaching $53.1 million. Cash balances increased to $143.9 million, supported by the completion of new financing facilities and the release of restricted cash.

Speaking about the final quarter during his tenure with Aurelia, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Bryan Quinn said it reflected the strength of Aurelia’s operations and growth strategy.

“Operational performance continued to improve through the quarter. Peak delivered record quarterly plant throughput, Federation ore mined increased again with a significant accompanying lift in grades, and strong metal production supported Aurelia’s highest quarterly operating cash flow since 2018.

Importantly, this was achieved while continuing to build ore stockpiles and progress the projects required to support the next stage of production growth.

“Aurelia enters FY27 with a stronger financial position following completion of new financing facilities, commissioning of the new thickener at Peak and continued progress on the tertiary ball mill and Great Cobar projects,” Bryan said.

As he prepares to conclude his tenure as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer later this month, Bryan reflected on the Company’s transformation and future outlook.

“I am proud of what Aurelia has achieved during my time with the Company. We have strengthened our asset base, built a high performing team, delivered a robust balance sheet, achieved exploration success and established a clear pathway to achieving our production growth strategy.

“FY26 finished strongly and provides a solid foundation for the year ahead. Aurelia is now exceptionally well positioned to create meaningful value for shareholders through FY27 and beyond. It has been a privilege to lead the Company through this period of transformation and growth and I leave with great confidence in its future,” Bryan concluded.

Aurelia and Landcare Plant the Seeds

Aurelia and Landcare Plant the Seeds for Local Revegetation at Dargues
Aurelia Metals’ partnership with Upper Shoalhaven Landcare is continuing to deliver strong outcomes for community-led environmental initiatives, with a recent planting bee at our Dargues site bringing volunteers together to support local revegetation.

Following the announcement in March 2025 of our agreement with Upper Shoalhaven Landcare, the former geology shed at our Dargues site was transformed into a Landcare Nursery Hub.

On Friday 12 June 2026, 23 volunteers joined Upper Shoalhaven Landcare and the Aurelia team at Dargues to plant tubestock, supporting ongoing revegetation efforts in the local area.

Volunteers travelled from Majors Creek, Braidwood, Bungendore, Queanbeyan and Numeralla, making the most of clear winter weather to get straight into the field. By lunchtime, every plant was in the ground, fertilised and mostly watered and guarded.

The activity was supported by site preparation completed ahead of the day, including pre-digging holes and constructing tree guards. This preparation helped make the planting smooth and efficient, with volunteers moving through the work so quickly that the team ran out of tree guards and stakes.

The Aurelia team also helped ferry volunteers to the planting site and hosted a sausage sizzle at lunch, which was warmly received after a productive morning in the field.

Aurelia’s Chief Development and Technical Officer, Andrew Graham, said the day was another example of what can be achieved when industry and community work together.

“This partnership reflects our broader commitment to sustainability and community engagement. By working with organisations like Upper Shoalhaven Landcare, we are helping to support biodiversity, restore local ecosystems and contribute to long-term environmental outcomes,” Andrew said.

Thank you Upper Shoalhaven Landcare and every volunteer who contributed to such a productive day at Dargues. We look forward to continuing our partnership to support practical, community-led environmental outcomes.

Financial Results for the Full Year Ended 30 June

29.08.26 14:16
Financial Results for the Full Year Ended 30 June 2026

On 27 August 2026, we released our financial results for the full year ended 30 June 2026.

FY26 was a year of strong operational and financial performance for Aurelia, with higher production and favourable commodity prices contributing to significant growth in revenue, earnings and profit.

Revenue increased 40% to $480.2 million, statutory EBITDA increased 55% to $189.2 million and statutory net profit after tax increased 69% to $82.7 million. Cash flows from operating activities increased 10% to $142.8 million.

Operationally, gold production of 50.4koz exceeded our revised guidance range, while production of our other metals was within guidance. Mining activity at Federation continued to ramp up during the year, with 5,683 metres of mine development completed and 360kt of ore mined, approximately 30kt ahead of plan.

At Peak, the focus was on improving mining efficiencies, with development increasing to 5,813 metres which included the commencement of development towards Great Cobar.

FY26 saw 1,823 metres completed at Great Cobar, with first ore remaining on target for FY28 and capital expenditure tracking within our approved budget.

We also continued to make progress against our growth strategy during the year. The Tailings Thickener was commissioned during the fourth quarter, while the Tertiary Ball Mill remained on track for commissioning in the first quarter of FY27. Together, the Peak Plant Expansion projects are expected to increase processing capacity from 800ktpa to between 1.1Mtpa and 1.2Mtpa. Importantly, regulatory approval to operate the plant at this higher throughput was received in August 2026.

This performance, together with our strengthened balance sheet, supported the Board’s declaration of a fully franked final dividend of 1.0 cent per share, representing a total distribution of approximately $17.2 million.

Interim Chief Executive Officer, Martin Cummings spoke about the results.

“FY26 was strong for Aurelia. We delivered strong earnings growth, cash generation and shareholder returns, while continuing to advance our growth strategy to lift mining rates and expand our processing capacity.

“We are well positioned to continue delivering strong production while advancing our pipeline of growth opportunities across the Cobar Basin, supported by our recently completed refinancing and strong balance sheet,” Martin said.

Looking ahead to FY27, we expect higher activity levels across our operations as Federation continues to ramp up and investment continues in Great Cobar, Peak infrastructure and processing capacity expansion projects. These investments are expected to support our future production growth, improve operating efficiencies and strengthen the Company’s position as a developer and operator of choice for base metals that power the future.

“I would like to thank every employee and contracting partner across Aurelia for their contribution to this result. Achievements of this scale are only possible through the commitment, professionalism and teamwork demonstrated across our operations and corporate teams every day. We have built strong momentum and I look forward to what we can achieve together in FY27,” Martin continued.

“I am incredibly proud of what our teams have accomplished throughout FY26 and grateful for the contribution each person has made. Together, we have built a solid foundation for the future, and I am excited about what we can achieve in FY27 and beyond,” Martin concluded.
