Heute kamen die Zahlen fürs 4. Quartal 2008

Wie erwartet, sehr schwach.

Aktie aktuell bei 3,20 USD oder 2,50 Euro (in Frankfurt)

Nach meiner Meinung ein idealer Zeitpunkt zum antizyklischen Kauf.

NOVA Chemicals Secures $150 Million In New Financing

NOVA Chemicals (News) today announced that the Company has secured $150 million in new financing. The $150 million exceeds the February 28, 2009, new financing condition agreed to by the Company as part of the earlier announced financial covenant relief. The new financing is a revolving credit facility with Export Development Canada (EDC), and a syndicate of three Canadian banks.

”This is a very big step toward ensuring NOVA Chemicals’ financial position remains solid through this challenging period. We are particularly pleased to add EDC as a new lender to our financing mix,” said Larry MacDonald, Chief Financial Officer.

Mit diesem neuen Kredit über 150 Mio $ sollten alle Insolvenzbefürchtungen nun endlich verschwinden.

Dürfte heute ein verdammt spannender Tag werden.

IPIC and NOVA Chemicals Announce Friendly, Recommended All-Cash Acquisition of NOVA Chemicals

International Petroleum Investment Company (”IPIC”) and NOVA Chemicals (News) Corporation (”NOVA Chemicals”) (NYSE:NCX)(TSX:NCX) announced today that they have entered into an agreement (the ”Arrangement Agreement”) providing for the acquisition by IPIC of all of NOVA Chemicals’ outstanding common shares (the ”Shares”) for a cash consideration of US$6.00 per Share. The acquisition will be implemented by way of a court-approved plan of arrangement under the Canada Business Corporations Act (the ”Arrangement”).

The consideration per Share represents a 348% premium over the February 20, 2009 closing price of the Shares on the New York Stock Exchange (”NYSE”) and a 204% premium over the combined and currency-adjusted 30-day volume-weighted average price of the Shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange (”TSX”) and NYSE up to and including February 20, 2009. The total value of the Arrangement, including assumption of NOVA Chemicals’ net debt obligations, is approximately US$2.3 billion.

Calgary (aktiencheck.de AG) - Die NOVA Chemicals Corp. (ISIN CA66977W1095 / WKN 915332), Kanadas größter Kunststoffhersteller, gab am Montag bekannt, dass sie der Übernahme durch die International Petroleum Investment Co. (IPIC) zugestimmt hat.

Den Angaben zufolge erhalten NOVA-Aktionäre im Rahmen der Transaktion 6,00 Dollar für jeden ihrer Anteilsscheine. Der Kaufpreis beinhaltet dabei eine Prämie von 348 Prozent auf den Schlusskurs der NOVA-Aktie vom Freitag. Einschließlich der Übernahme von Verbindlichkeiten hat die Transaktion ein Volumen von rund 2,3 Mrd. Dollar.

Darüber hinaus wird International Petroleum, ein Staatsunternehmen der Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate, ein so genanntes Credit Backstop-Abkommen zur Verfügung stellen, um die Liquidität von NOVA zu unterstützen.

Die Aktie von NOVA Chemicals schloss am Freitag an der NYSE bei 1,34 Dollar und gewinn vorbörslich aktuell 303,73 Prozent auf 5,41 Dollar. (23.02.2009/ac/n/a)

toller Tag, heut morgen vor der Arbeit noch eine VK-Order bei 1,95$ gesetzt und dann doch bei Eröffnung für 5,40$ verkauft, mal locker binnen kurzer Zeit 300%.....denke den Tag werd ich mal locker ausklingen lassen.

KK zu durchschnittlich 1,60 Dollar (über 4000 Stk).

wenn die übernahme-firma 6$ pro aktie zahlt,warum geht der kurs nicht nahe an 6$ heran?
