Streamline gains on Canadian contractBusiness Courier of Cincinnati
Streamline Health Solutions’ stock closed up 20 percent Friday on news of a major deal in Canada.
The software company (Nasdaq: STRM) ended the day at $3.20 per share, its highest price since September 2007. Streamline Health said its document workflow solutions “will be integrated into the electronic medical records solution for multiple facilities within an additional leading Canadian health care region.”
The company said it has has now secured two large international contracts for implementation of its solutions at a total of more than 18 health care facilities. It hopes to recognize about $1.6 million in software licensing revenues plus additional implementation services in its fourth fiscal quarter.
In addition, Streamline Health expects its backlog will increase several million dollars as a result of anticipated installation and maintenance services fees over the term of the agreements.
