Trintech completes successful certification with Visa International
for its' PayWare MPI 3-D Secure Merchant Plug-In

Dublin, Ireland/Dallas, Texas, 1 December 2003 - Trintech Group Plc
(NASDAQ: TTPA: Prime Standard: TTP), a leading provider of transaction
management and payment infrastructure solutions, today announced that
State Bank of Mauritius (SBM), has implemented PayWare MPI to provide
payment authentication to SBM merchant customers under the Verified by
Visa and MasterCard SecureCode(tm) programs for Internet payments.

SBM's existing PayWare eCommerce environment includes Trintech's
PayWare Acquirer Internet payment gateway, which securely processes
card payment transactions on behalf of SBM web merchants. With the
addition of PayWare MPI, SBM merchants will benefit immediately by
offering Verified by Visa and SecureCode authentication services to
their customers, giving them instant protection from online fraud
losses. The inability to identify the cardholder is a major cause of
Internet card fraud. PayWare MPI uses the 3D secure protocol. This
protocol permits issuing banks to confirm a cardholder's identity by
requiring the cardholder to enter a password at the time the
transaction is processed, in the same way that a signature is
required when shopping in the high street.

As part of the implementation project at State Bank of Mauritius,
PayWare MPI successfully completed certification and interoperability
testing with Visa International. PayWare MPI is a standalone Merchant
Plug-In that supports 3-D Secure that can both complement Trintech's
existing PayWare Acquirer payment gateway, or can be used

independently by an acquirer with an existing in-house payment gateway.

"We are very pleased with the upgrade by Trintech of our acquiring
systems to support Visa and MasterCard's latest eCommerce standards,"
said Sailesh Sewpaul, Team Leader, Customer Service at State Bank of
Mauritius. "It is extremely important for all acquirers to work
towards eliminating Internet fraud. With the help of the Trintech team
we are confident that our PayWare solutions meet the industry's highest
security requirements."

"Authentication of identity remains one of the greatest challenges
facing the growth of online commerce today" said Tom Trainor, EVP of
Sales at Trintech. "The introduction of 3-D secure represents a
significant initiative by the banking community to combat fraud in
card-not-present purchases. State Bank of Mauritius is leading the
charge to eliminate merchant fraud. Trintech's PayWare Acquirer has
been efficiently and securely processing eCommerce transactions at
SBM's headquarters since February 2001. The installation of PayWare
MPI will ensure that SBM is now further protected against online
fraud."

About PayWare MPI
Trintech's PayWare MPI is a standalone Merchant Plug-in that supports
3-D Secure - the authentication protocol used by Verified by Visa and
MasterCard SecureCode. The product is targeted at Acquirers and
Payment Service Providers who wish to provide hosted 3-D Secure
authentication services to their merchants. PayWare MPI can both
complement Trintech's existing PayWare Acquirer gateway, or can be
used independantly by an acquirer with an existing in-house payment
gateway.

About State Bank of Mauritius
State Bank of Mauritius Ltd (SBM) Group is an integrated financial
services group - formerly known as The State Commercial Bank Ltd -
which began operations in 1973. SBM has continuously improved its
operating efficiencies and is today recognized as a dynamic, sound
and innovative group. SBM has a modern Information Technology (IT)
structure coupled with a flexible but flat structure and with a
customer-friendly business model that enables it to be most
efficient, with the lowest cost to income ratio in the Mauritian
banking industry. The Group has transformed from a bank that was
100 percent manual in 1989 to a fully automated real-time online
bank with over 93 percent of its eligible transactions conducted
through electronic channels.

SBM has three lines of business: Personal Banking, Business Banking
and Treasury, which it services through a network of 42 domestic
Service Units, 87 Bank's ATMs, coupled with Internet banking, PC
banking, e-commerce and over 1,000 Bank's POS terminals. SBM enjoys
a large market share in most banking segments, with a particular
emphasis in retail banking.

About Verified by Visa
Verified by Visa protects Member banks and e-merchants from the
costly effects of fraud. The service enables issuing banks to
verify the identities of cardholders, in real time, prior to
authorizing charges or debits for online purchases. The service is
complementary to Visa's Zero Liability policy, which protects
consumers by eliminating their liability for fraudulent purchases.
Verified by Visa goes one step further - preventing fraud from
occurring in the first place.

About MasterCard SecureCode
MasterCard SecureCode is an issuer-based security scheme that
takes advantage of MasterCard's UCAF infrastructure to protect
against fraud in an online transaction. MasterCard and Maestro
issuers can enjoy the simplicity of a completely client-less
architecture with no additional software and no download required.
Under MasterCard SecureCode, a cardholder's identity can be
confirmed using a variety of methods including passwords, smart
cards, and other methods that provide for cardholder mobility
without sacrificing security.

Aston Villa F.C. Selects Trintech's Bank Accredited PayWare Merchant to Provide Payment Capabilities for Innovative Automated Ticketing System

Leading UK Soccer Club Implements Leading Card Payment Solution to Manage Card Payments from New KIOSK Ticketing System

London, UK/Dallas, Texas - 9 December, 2003 - Trintech Group Plc (NASDAQ: TTPA: Prime Standard: TTP), a leading provider of transaction management and payment infrastructure solutions, today announced that Aston Villa F.C., one of the UK's top soccer clubs, has selected Trintech's bank-accredited PayWare Merchant to automate the processing and distribution of match tickets bought using a debit or credit card.

The new system has been implemented at the club's stadium in the Midlands and will allow fans to pay for tickets at an unmanned payment KIOSK, located at the entrance to the stadium. The KIOSK will also print tickets immediately, thereby avoiding long queues at ticket sales desks. The PayWare solution is being jointly installed by Trintech's established reseller, Synchro Systems, based in Newcastle- under- Lyme. Synchro has actively promoted Trintech's card processing solution for the past six years and has partnered to install over 60 systems with customers throughout Europe.

"We are very happy to have chosen Trintech's PayWare Merchant solution," says Dave Money at Aston Villa F.C. "The ability for our fans to purchase tickets at an automated kiosk will help speed the ticketing process for credit card holders. The system also allows us to cut down on costly paperwork and manpower spent managing ticket sales."

"Aston Villa has taken an innovative approach to ticket sales with the introduction of the KIOSK," says Eamon Keating, General Manager of Trintech's Retail Division. "We are particularly pleased that Aston Villa chose to upgrade to the latest PayWare Merchant from a previous version, thereby highlighting the inherent advantages of our product roadmap and vision. In conjunction with Synchro Systems, we have been able to provide Aston Villa with a paperless, easy-to-use payment and ticketing system that benefits fans and the company."

provides Dubai Bank with an enterprise card management solution that is
designed to handle multiple card products and technologies.

Within a short span of less than a year, Dubai Bank already ranks as

strategy with third party, best-in-breed service providers. This
complements the bank's own commitment to providing fast and flexible
financial solutions.

"Dubai Bank has quickly established itself as a customer focused
financial services provider in the UAE," says Tom Trainor, EVP of
Sales at Trintech. "PayWare CMS makes it easy to develop and deploy
tailored card products for different customer segments enabling Dubai
Bank to expand their portfolio while maintaining the high level of
service that their customers demand".

Manchester City F.C. Selects Trintech's PayWare to Provide Fast and Secure Card Payments

Premier League Club Implements Trintech's PayWare Merchant to
Automate the Processing of Retail & Mail Order Card Payments

London, UK/Dallas, Texas - 26 January, 2004 - Trintech Group Plc  (NASDAQ: TTPA: Prime Standard: TTP), a leading provider of transaction management and payment infrastructure solutions, today announced that Manchester City F.C., the famous Premier League club, has selected Trintech's bank-accredited PayWare Merchant to process retail and mail order card payments including EMV Chip and PIN card transactions.

Manchester City F.C. has implemented Trintech's PayWare solution at the club's high-tech Stadium in Manchester, originally home to the Common Wealth Games 2002. The server-based solution will manage all card transactions at the club's busy retail store and mail order department. This translates to less time queuing for fans and guests, easier reconciliation of transactions, central and local reporting.  Currently, the club generates millions of pounds in revenue each year from a combination of ticket sales and merchandizing.  The clubs objective was to install a secure transactional product that could handle heavy volumes of card payments in multiple environments securely.

"We are very happy to have chosen Trintech's PayWare solution," commented Duncan Martin at Manchester City F.C. "The move to our new stadium represented the perfect opportunity to update some aspects of our technology. The increased retail space and demand for mail order shopping requires a solution that can easily and securely handle the high volumes of card transactions we anticipate in the coming years".

"We have a very strong customer base within the sporting arena," said Eamon Keating, General Manager of Trintech's Retail Division. "We are particularly pleased that Manchester City F.C. chose PayWare Merchant as it will provide them with the option to manage card payments across multi-merchant environments, including retail, Internet and mail order in the coming years."

The PayWare Merchant solution is being jointly installed by Trintech's established reseller, Esperus Systems Limited, based in North London. Esperus have worked with Trintech on many large sporting retail projects over the past six years and are highly regarded as having one of the most ideal retail and mail order operating systems for the sporting and leisure industry.

About PayWare Merchant
PayWare Merchant is Trintech's latest generation payment server that enables merchants to accept card payments and perform rapid online payment authorization from any sales or order processing system. PayWare Merchant integrates seamlessly with electronic point-of-sale (EPoS), call center systems, Internet web sites and other business systems.
