(Moderator OTI) It is projectet around 15 million US$.
NormanM: Can you please explain some facts of the planed activities in europe this year?
(Moderator OTI) We are starting with the GMS-Application and some excess-control and
parking-applications.
KarlMartell: Why is the net loss (1,8 Million US-$) higher than usually expected?
(Moderator OTI) Due to higher investment in R&D which is registered as expence in the P&L.
witstock: what was the main reason for the 2.8 mill in the last quarter? why is the last quarter so high like
the hole 9 month before?
(Moderator OTI) Projects in USA the fall is Southeast Asia and Europe as well as projects in Africa.
witstock: Who is your partner in the project with the gsm-applications?
(Moderator OTI) Our partners in US ist HP, in Africa is British Petroleum and in Turkey it is Turcas.
gakko: where you will starting with the GMS-Application in europe?
(Moderator OTI) We cannot give details in this time, but we are starting with three different countries.
WARFAIR2: When do you expect to make profit?
(Moderator OTI) The year 2000 we will have a profit of 10% of the revenues.
DerKleeneBroker: after your press conference, oti lost 12% in the stocks... can you understand the little
resignation of the market or do you think there is no reason for this reaction ?
(Moderator OTI) The market reacted to the adhoc announcement but the reaction in the analyst
conference
(Moderator OTI) was very positive.
gakko: will be BritishPetroleum your partner on the europe market too??
(Moderator OTI) We cannot discuss this issue at the moment.
KeHo: What are the revenue- and p/l-plans for 2000 and 2001
WARFAIR2: How do you come to this "10% profit" conclusion? Will OTI grow steady or will there be
significant differences between Q1 to Q4?
(Moderator OTI) 1. The 10% is after a planned increase in R&D.
(Moderator OTI) 2. Usually the last quarter like every year, the last quater represents about 40% of
anual %.
stopbuy2: Do you think there is a probability to extend the expected sales in 2000 ?
(Moderator OTI) When we sale projection this is our respectation but we will try to do more.
Dialektiker: Do you agree that the main future challenge for OTI does not concern technological issues,
but issues of marketing and distribution policy of your products?
(Moderator OTI) Yes it is based on our technological advantages but the marketing and distribution
(Moderator OTI) will play a major role. This is the reason for entering into statistic agreement
(Moderator OTI) with market leaders.
witstock: Are you planning a "Road-Show" to win mor instutional investors like fonds?
(Moderator OTI) Yes, in the near future

(Moderator OTI) We have a Philips and Infineon on the silicon level but they have a different business
model.
(Moderator OTI) They are not involved in complete application and they don`t have seven years
(Moderator OTI) of filled experience as OTI has.
witstock: Are ou planning a joint-venture with siemens of infineon?
(Moderator OTI) We cannot answer this question at the moment.
Dialektiker: There are rumours on a potential takeover of OTI on the part of Infineon. Can you comment
on that speculation?
(Moderator OTI) Yes we are.
ruewegener: Ruewegener: What do you except from the analyst in the next days regarding your
company??
(Moderator OTI) We have a good reaction in those days.
crazyboy2000: What about your scheduled figures for 2000, 2001 Do you expect a significant increase?
(Moderator OTI) Yes we expect significant growths in sales in the years 2000 and 2001.
witstock: Are you developing other product except the smart card and with the smart-card relationated
products?
(Moderator OTI) We are developing products in the smart-card filled.
kl: Are you developing products for internet applications?
(Moderator OTI) Yes we are considering such developments for financials transactions and
(Moderator OTI) the connection between the virtual world and the reals mergance.
blaumann: are you developing products for mobile applications
(Moderator OTI) We cannot react on this at the moment.
Spike: Which other areas you see for oti - technology in future?
(Moderator OTI) At the moment we are concentrating in taking out the most from our excisting
applications.
volkero: where will oti smart cards be used? any upcoming orders / projects / customers?
(Moderator OTI) All over the world.
Heioooo: Are you interested in the US-Market?
(Moderator OTI) We are very active in the US-market.
DerKleeneBroker: Is there a concrete project in Germay, coming soon, where Oti-Cards are intergrated
(Moderator OTI) Not in the near future.
rolf2000: Do you see problems in hiring enough specialists to reach your growth goals?
(Moderator OTI) We think that we will get all the skilled personal needed to meet our objectives.

OTIST: Why is the JV with Cheung Kong treated so secretly?
(Moderator OTI) We have to respect Cheung Kong request to allowed them to announce the details
(Moderator OTI) in the formale press-conference in HongKong next week.
witstock: At what date is the press conference with CK and whre will it take place?
(Moderator OTI) End of next week in HongKong.
qwert: if there is an enormous request, how fast could you raise your production facilities?
(Moderator OTI) Very fast by using additional sub-contractors.
Heioooo: Are new products planned?
(Moderator OTI) Cannot answer the question.
witstock: Have you got enogh money for further investions or are you planning to give out more
shares/stocks?
(Moderator OTI) At this moment we are not planning to give more shares.
OTIST: Can you tell us something more detailed about the Cubic deal?
(Moderator OTI) Yes, this is a very important statistic cooperation. And the results will be seen mainly

Die strategischen Ausrichtung der OTI ist auf das Erringen und Festigung der Marktführerschaft im Bereich der kontaktlosen Smartcard Technologie gerichtet. Die Gesellschaft hat heute angegeben, das Ziel im Segment für kontakt-/kontaktlose mikroprozessor-basierte Smart Cards erreicht zu haben. Partnerschaften


Im vergangenen Jahr hat das Unternehmen zahlreich Verträge geschlossen. So wurden nordamerikanische Marktanteile durch die strategische Allianz mit HP/VeriFone ausgeweitet werden. Zu den Partnern zählen Samsung Electronics, Frankfurter Flughafen und BP Süd Afrika sowie Credencial Argentina S.A. OTI hat die Marktdurchdringung des europäischen Marktes mit dem Gasoline Management System (GMS) vorangetrieben. In Israel profitiert die Gesellschaft von der Einführung der elektronischen Bordparkuhr von EasyPark™ an der OTI beteiligt ist. Die Cubic Transportation Systems wird OTI's EYECON MultiCard System in das System TriReader, integrieren.



Geschäftszahlen
Die Umsätze im Zeitraum zwischen Januar und September 1999 wuchsen um 79 Prozent auf USD 2,57 Millionen, während der Bruttogewinn um 241 Prozent auf USD 1,7 Millionen stieg. Das Geschäftsjahr endet am 31.12. Vorstand Bashan will zur Penetration des europäischen Marktes qualifiziertes Personal einstellen.

Analysten schätzten zum Börsengang:

Dieses Resultat präsentiert einen Verlust je Aktie von US$ 0.16 im Jahre 1999 und ist über 100% oberhalb der ursprünglichen Planung. Die Umsätze im Jahre 1999 stiegen im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um 39,1% auf US$ 5,38 Mio. und liegen im Rahmen der Erwartungen des Management. Investoren hatten ein übertreffen der Planzahlen erwartet. Von Analysten wurde der Nettoverlust 1999 auf Euro 0,981 Mio. geschätzt und ist je nach Umrechnungskurs mit US$ 1.86 Millionen annähernd doppelt (anm. hoch? niedrig??? hier der Link:

Die Finanzberichte beinhalten - sowohl im letzten Quartal wie auch zuvor - die Geschäftszahlen der Tochtergesellschaften.

Dsa heißt doppelt so hoch...ein Euro entspricht ca einem Dollar...also statt 0,98 sind es jetzt 1,86.
Bin trotzdem recht zuversichtlich...Produkte und Firma überzeugen mich, Partnerschaften mit anderen Firmen stimmen auch.
Abwarten, die nächsten positiven Ad-hoc`s werden den Kurs wieder steigen lassen..

Das herüberkopieren von WO hat nicht so toll geklappt.
Ich hoffe, bei OTI demnächst wieder Einkaufkurse zu sehen.
AAP bei mir wie schon gepostet: bei 40 € steige ich auch mit 50% aus, da ich Angst vor den Quartalszahlen habe. Könnte wie letztes mal laufen!
