Why Do Our Stock Ratings Change More Frequently Than The Usual "Ratings" Provided By "Mainstream Wallstreet"?
You may notice that our stock ratings change frequently. One of the most common questions we get goes something like this: "You rated XYZ Corporation a 'buy' yesterday, and today it's a 'sell'. What's the deal?" Well, our goal is to give traders entry and exit positions for short-term trades. As the market moves, and as a stock's price fluctuates, our guidance could change as well. The market is not a static entity. The market moves up and down - and our ratings are geared for traders who understand that concept.
Our ratings should not be construed as "long term" or "buy and hold" guidance. Our opinion is that "long term" or "buy and hold" strategies are doomed to fail or at least underperform what a diligent trader can accomplish with disciplined trading. You should also notice that we actually give "sell" ratings on stocks. This is in stark contrast to the baloney on "mainstream" wallstreet. "Mainstream wallstreet" has a vested interest in the idea that "investors" should 1) buy stocks, 2) hold stocks, and 3) sell stocks at a LOSS back to them.
