RK, thank you for your posts with the facts. There are many of us who are long in HIV, have been so for years and who have done our due diligence, following the company for an extended period of time.
The bashers with whom you are engaged on this board have been bashing this stock for over three years. Clearly, any person who claims not to have any financial interest in the company has to have a motive to post negatively day in and day out.
It is also clear they are posting under different screen names, indicative by the amount of time between their posts.
Calypte has had a hard battle upward in the HIV testing research and development field.
Currently, there is only one major competitor with an oral HIV test and they have high production costs as they produce their product domestically. Calypte will be a major competitor to them on the international market due to their strategic goals and the ability to produce the product at one half to to two thirds less than the cost of the competitor.
This will give Calypte the edge in the international market as the domestic market is currently clogged with HIV tests and HIV testing. Where HIV testing "is at" is in the foreign markets.
Right now, the competition is obviously threatened as they recently announced they are going to seek the international markets and are currently marketing in the same markets as Calypte.
So, now you may realize the motive for the bashers posting false information about the stock and their attempts to manipulate the stock price.

Aber ich würde jetzt echt die Reißleine ziehen - in 9 Monaten fast die gesamte Kohle verbrannt ohne entsprechende Gegenwerte zu schaffen :-(
In dem Tempo ist Calypte in 2 Monaten pleite.
Selbst wenn jetzt noch ein supa-duba-Großauftrag reinkäme - die haben gar nicht mehr die Kohle und die Materialien um den auszuführen.

dass mich wundert, dass die sich heute noch so gut gehalten haben.
Hört lieber auf den Doc und nehmt die Kohle, solange ihr noch einigermassen was für die Aktien bekommt. Für mich liegen dich am Tropf im Koma. Bis die abnippeln, ist m.E. nur noch ne Frage der Zeit.
