Warm weather prompts Campbell downgrade (CPB, HAIN) by Tomi Kilgore
Campbell Soup (CPB) is trading down 34 cents at $28.45, after analyst William Leach at Banc of America downgraded the stock to "underperform" from "market performer." Leach added that he was cutting his 2002 earnings per share forcast to $1.20 from $1.30, as the unusually warm weather has hurt demand for the company's soups.
