As advised in our announcement on the 5th June 2000, 131 applications
have been received for 17,681,498 options in the 9:10
non-renounceable pro rata offer of options at an issue price of 5
cents each.
Certificates for issuer sponsored holders will be forwarded in
today's mail and messages were forwarded yesterday afternoon to all
Chess holders confirming optionholders entitlements.
Your directors would like to take this opportunity to thank
shareholders for their participation in this new issue.
Most shareholders would be aware that Mr Thomas Roeggla resides in
Europe and due to his workload has been unable to attend MPH Board
Meetings. Under these circumstances he has decided to tender his
resignation as a Director as at the 13th June 2000. Mr Roeggla has
stated that although he has resigned he will remain a shareholder as
he believes in the future growth of MPH.
Upcoming rental releases for Magna are Man on the Moon staring Jim
Carrey in June, 2000, Sample People staring Kylie Minogue in
September 2000, Isn't She Great staring Bette Midler in October 2000
and Wonderboys staring Michael Douglas in November 2000.
Magna continues to release DVD titles to the market and will soon
release Virus, Human Traffic, Round the Twist and Man on the Moon to
follow the successful release of the Blair Witch Project DVD.
Magna's website is now commercial with fully encrypted credit card
facilities complementing the extensive database features.
