Aktuell in Kanada bei 0.29C$.Der Kauf des Kremnica-Projektes, ein wahres Schnäppchen. Die Industrie bewertet "1 Ounce in the ground" mit rund 25$, bei 1,1 Millionen Feinunzen Gold ist das gigantisch. Der Wert von Tournigan sollte sich erheblich steigern.

Tournigan Completes Due Diligence on Kremnica

Tournigan Gold Corporation (TVC:TSX.V) has completed a due diligence program with positive results on the Kremnica Gold Project located in the Slovak Republic. Consequently, a Purchase Notice has been provided to the vendor, Argosy Minerals Inc, which sets out a maximum 45 day period to complete the closing of this transaction. The purchase price for the project is C$500,000, payable in cash.
Kremnica is a low sulphidation epithermal gold system where historical recorded production has totaled 1.5 million ounces of gold and 6.7 million ounces of silver from the 14th Century through to 1971. Argosy drilled 79 holes in 1996 and 1997 for a total of 12,300 metres and this work extended the known limits of mineralization and identified new targets both north and south of the main resource called Sturec. The total in-situ geological resource based on exploration to date reported by Argosy was 1.1 million ounces of gold and 9.0 million ounces of silver. At a 0.5 g/t gold cut-off grade the resource was given as 22.3 million tonnes at a grade of 1.54 g/t gold and 12.5 g/t silver. The resource comprised three zones: Sturec, Vratislav and Wolf, with Sturec containing 85% of the total gold.
The Kremnica project offers Tournigan development potential and significant scope for increasing resources through drilling at Sturec and the open ended Wolf and South Ridge Zones. In addition, blue sky potential exists for entirely new discoveries within the exploration license immediately south of the Kremnica mining lease where there is substantial evidence of epithermal alteration and pathfinder element geochemistry.
The acquisition of the Kremnica project will both complement and add a substantial gold resource to Tournigan`s portfolio of advanced stage exploration/development gold projects in Europe. The acquisition remains subject to regulatory approval.
