Zar schon etwas älter, dennoch überaus interessant!
Ist für mich en Meilenstein!
CALABASAS, Calif., Mar 12, 2003 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- National Technical Systems Inc. (NTSC) (NTS), a leading provider of quality and conformance testing and managed services, today announced that it has established an European subsidiary and opened an office in Munich, Germany.
The company has headquarters in Calabasas and also maintains 26 facilities and offices in the United States and Japan. NTS Europe GmbH reports to Richard J. Dunne, managing director.
In addition to enhancing the company's presence in Europe, the office was opened to support NTS' recently announced alliance with Munich-based Siemens ICN, Quality Engineering and Testing.
The two companies have signed an exclusive five-year alliance to provide independent, third-party testing services to telecommunications and information technology (IT) equipment manufacturers based in Europe, South America, the Middle East and Africa.
NTS President and COO William C. McGinnis said, "Our decision to establish this European subsidiary was driven by what we see as an exciting market opportunity in Europe to provide international telecom and IT equipment manufacturers the necessary tests and services to gain access to the U.S. market.
"We expect that this office in Germany will help us implement our strategy to expand our market reach to Europe and establish relationships with a number of key manufacturers."
