By the year 2030, the world will be consuming twice the electricity it does today. Our appetite for energy, particularly in emerging markets, seems endless.

More and more, the consensus is that it lies with nuclear-generated electricity. It's clean. For example, an individual power generating plant can produce enormous quantities of power with little environmental impact. This means the world will need more uranium.
Aurora is the 100% owner of one of the largest undeveloped uranium deposits in Canada. Currently, the Michelin deposit in Labrador — one of six areas of interest — has enough uranium to power over 1 million homes for 67 years, and we have only begun to tap the potential.
Aurora is a Newfoundland and Labrador company, with 25% of our shareholders and the majority of our Board of Directors from the province. The Company's management is a young, energetic team of mining professionals led by Dr. Mark O'Dea, a Newfoundlander who is committed to providing the clean energy the world desperately needs. The Aurora team is smart, focused and passionate about protecting the planet we all call home. We recognize that for uranium to power the future, the supply of uranium will have to increase to meet growing demand. Current mine production meets only 60% of today's world demand.
