On February 7, 2017, Citron Research reported that Motorola's handset sales contributed "a whopping 76.7% of Motorola's bottom line", that the Company's handsets were significantly overpriced, and that Motorola's "borderline anti-competitive" sales tactics were unlikely to prove sustainable in competitive bidding for government contracts. 

On this news, Motorola's share price has fallen as much as $4.81, or 5.89%, to a low of $76.92 during intraday trading on February 7, 2017.
