Annual Report 2007/2008 available

Leuven, 16  October 2008  (17.35  CET) -  Publication of  the  Annual
Report of KBC Ancora SCA over the financial year 2007/2008.
 
In conformity  with articles  12 and  36 of  the Royal  Decree of  14
November 2007  concerning the  obligations  of issuers  of  financial
instruments admitted to  trading on  a regulated  market, KBC  Ancora
announces that its Annual report covering the period 1 July 2007 - 30
June 2008, i.e. financial year 2007/2008, is available on its website
www.kbcancora.be, on  the  homepage  as well  as  under  the  heading
'news'.
 
KBC Ancora is a listed company  which holds approximately 23% of  the
shares in KBC Group and which together with Cera, MRBB and the  Other
Permanent Shareholders ensures the shareholder stability and  further
development of the KBC group. As core shareholders of KBC Group, they
have to this end signed a shareholder agreement.
