CARREFOUR L'OPTIQUE SELECTS ALDATA'S G.O.L.D.
 
Carrefour L'OPTIQUE, the wholly owned subsidiary of Carrefour Group -

the world's second largest retailer -, has selected G.O.L.D. Central

for its central merchandise management and G.O.L.D. Shop for the

back-office management of all its sales outlets, each outlet being

connected to the central system via the G.O.L.D. e-Retail web

technology.
 

Consisting of 65 shops in France with more than 10.000 articles,

Carrefour L'OPTIQUE will manage its merchandise with G.O.L.D. which

will be interfaced to Carrefours' Peoplesoft financial system. The

project implementation is expected to take place over 6 months in

France. Some expansions will be then considered in other countries

where Carrefour L'OPTIQUE is present.
