Stimmt schon, schwer abschätzbar. Aber das zusätzliche Engagement in Brazil/Latam is eine super Ergänzung.

In Südamerika gibts kleine Margen bei Advertising, dafür aber En Masse Publikum - Tendenz steigend.
Das ist ein super Gegengewicht zum Eintrit in Japan, wo es eher umgedreht ist. Hier ist das Wachstum schon wegen der Demographie begrenzt. Dafür ist JP die Creme de la creme der Gaming Märkte (nach USA und China) mit horrenden Ausgaben für Ads und Games.

Jedoch konnte ich auf der smaato Webseite die Informationen zu den Investmentfunds etc nicht finden. Dort stehen andere Eigentumsverhältnisse ' Spearhead Integrated Marketing Communication Group'
Vielleicht sind die Unternehmenskonstrukte ziemlich verschachtelt.
Vielleicht handelt es sich auch nur um einen Teil des gesamten Kuchens.
Ich recherchiere mal weiter.

Gute Frage. Sieht so eigentlich so aus. Aber Geduld... es handelt sich ja erstmal nur um die Absichtserklärung seitens MGI.
Ist zwar schon alles fortgeschritten, aber ich verstehe schon, dass das für Smaato oder SQI noch keine PR Wert ist.

Apple zeigt Interesse an der einzigartigen IDFA-Lösung ATOM der Verve Group

Transkript der CPO-Erklärung der Verve Group, in der er die laufenden Gespräche mit Apple zur Integration von Atom erwähnt:

"We ve got quiet a lot of  feedback. We ve been talking to the advertisers since the beginning of this year and end of the last year. We talked to with the largest group out there, the feedback was always positive of course it takes a bit of time. We have them as partner on the pipeline to test as we move forward. The feedback was very positive and then we were the first ones that they've heard to bild this solution [...]

One interesting point to that is even Apple is interested on this solution (ATOM) and advertising with us and we have a call on the next few weeks with them to see if it fits"

MGI’s Supply Side Platform is particularly strong (67% of sales) while the Demand Side Platform and the Performance Platform account for 14% and 13% of sales respectively. The excellent outlook for the business is confirmed by a 92% retention rate among its big accounts and 37% growth of its SaaS accounts in Q1 2021. The two big closed ecosystems, Google and Facebook, control 28% and 22% respectively of global digital ad spending. The open internet, however, is highly fragmented and highly attractive in light of estimated growth rates in the low to mid-teens for global digital ad spending.

On Monday, (21.06) MGI disclosed that it is in exclusive negotiations with Smaato, a Digital Advertisement Platform to monetize websites and apps via ad placements. Smaato reaches around 1.3bn monthly users, which would nearly double MGI’s reach of 1.4bn monthly users and should generate substantial synergies. Smaato should add EUR 30 to EUR 40m revenues p.a. with an EBITDA margin of around 30%."

Bei MGI geht es so schnell vorwärts, dass man kaum mit der Recherche hinterherkommt.

Smaato...das wäre schon ein Wahnsinns-Transaktion. Wo wird hier der Kaufpreis liegen? Vermutlich werden die Shareholder auch an MGI-Shares erhalten.
Wundere mich nur, dass die Sache kommuniziert wird, bevor Tinte auf dem Papier ist

Smaato has been acquired for 148m dollars in 2016 by  Spearhead. But Spearhead didn't manage well the company since then. Smaato have really good product that will fit perfectly with Verve Group and it will strength MGI adtech segment in the open internet.

Good to know that Smaato is al ready a profitable

Ich schätze, man wollte es auch unbedingt noch vor der gestrigen Medien-Präsentation veröffentlichen. @Perspez: Es gibt ja die Aufzeichnung - wo in etwa kommt die Sequenz, wo es um Apple geht, wo Remco den CPO zurückpfeift?

@maaaxi listen to the whole Verve Group presentation  there can you hear that MGi gonna a higher the m&a tempo after Smaato acquisition and in addition to that some really interesting information about Verve Group.  I'll recommend it strongly! Unfortunately lot of investors are mustly seeing MGi as gaming company and forget a really important: Verve Group and the synergies with Gamigo.
