We view VBIV as both an emerging vaccine development story and a restructuring story. The company has moved quickly in the past 12 months to significantly de-risk its business model through; 1) the addition of commercial-stage product to support near-term revenue and gross profit growth, 2) leveraging the in-house eVLP platform to expand its prophylactic vaccine pipeline, and 3) entering therapeutic vaccine develop with a lead immuno-oncology product for treatment of glioblastoma (GBM).
