NEW YORK, Dec. 11, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory U.S. will have a significant presence at Aistemos' "Lawtech-The Era of Digital Transformation" webinar on Wednesday, December 13. David Bartolone, Vice President and General Manager of the International Group for Wolters Kluwer, will give a presentation on innovation culture and the digital transformation of legal services.

With more than 25 years' experience in professional information services, Bartolone oversees the International Group within Wolters Kluwer Legal & Regulatory, which provides leading content and practice tools on aspects of law that impact international commercial transactions. During the webinar, Bartolone will discuss technology's impact on the shift of the legal sector, and his efforts to create a culture of innovation within his business to recognize and meet emerging customer needs.

"Technology is a major driver of change in the legal sector and companies must adapt to this evolution to thrive," said Bartolone. "Building a culture of innovation is key to putting our customers' needs front and center, empowering them to leverage new technology in their practice areas, and helping them to prepare for the future."

Bartolone will join Rob Sumroy, IP Partner with Slaughter and May, and host Nigel Swycher, CEO of Aistemos. The webinar will offer practical guidance to developers and adopters of new technology. Additional webinar topics will include:

  • The transformation of legal publishing and the importance of both content and delivery,
  • Harnessing the benefits of AI and machine learning, and
  • Technology's impacts on the "hourly rate" model.

Earlier this year, Wolters Kluwer announced a strategic partnership with Aistemos, an innovative IP data and intelligence firm, to make Aistemos' acclaimed Cipher Reports available to its wide range of customers, providing access to highly valuable analysis and reporting. During the webinar, Cipher IP analytics will be presented as a case study to demonstrate the benefits of AI and Sumroy will share his thoughts on the legal sector adopting new working techniques.
