WellCare to Award $5,000 in Micro-Grants to Support Social Service Agencies in Mississippi

JACKSON, Miss. and TAMPA, Fla., Feb. 16, 2017

"WellCare's micro-grant program is part of our commitment to supporting community-based organizations that are making a difference in the lives of Mississippians," said Chris Swigon, WellCare's regional manager of community advocacy.

Qualifying organizations can apply by completing a short application online at http://www.thecommunitycommitment.org/micro-grant-request-submission. As of Dec. 31, 2016, WellCare serves approximately 20,000 Medicare Advantage plan members and 35,000 Medicare Prescription Drug Plan members in Mississippi.
