VWR Recognized as a 2016 Healthiest 100 Workplace in America®

Award applicants were evaluated across six key categories: Vision, Culture/Engagement, Learning, Expertise, Metrics and Technology. Applicants were evaluated with the proprietary Healthiest Employer Index, a 1-100 metric for wellness programming. The winning organizations have achieved lasting success through a wide array of employee wellness initiatives and corporate wellness programs.

VWR is committed to creating a healthy culture for its employees and their families. Some of the Company's wellness initiatives across the Americas include free fruit for healthy snacking in many of their locations, fitness and weight management reimbursement, and free flu shots each year for employees in the U.S. In addition, VWR wellness champions around the globe work together to coordinate events to promote employee health and engagement, including an annual global fitness challenge for all employees and their spouses/registered domestic partners.

Over 5,000 employers applied for the Award nationally.
