Updated: Harwood Feffer LLP Announces Investigation of Barrett Business Services, Inc.

NEW YORK, March 10, 2016

On November 9, 2015, the Company disclosed that the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors had received written notice from BBSI's auditor that the Company's financial statements for the second quarter of 2014 can no longer be relied upon.  The disclosure states the auditor became "aware of information indicating that an illegal act has or may have occurred with respect to the June 30, 2014 workers' compensation reserve." 

On March 9, 2016, the Company disclosed that it would be required to restate its previously issued financial statements for the fiscal years 2012, 2013, and 2014, each quarter of those fiscal years, and the first two quarters of 2015. 

Our investigation concerns whether the Company board of directors has breached its fiduciary duties to shareholders, grossly mismanaged the Company, and/or committed abuses of control in connection with the foregoing.
