Tannon Krumpelman to Join Evercore as Senior Managing Director in the Financial Services Advisory Practice in New York

NEW YORK, June 14, 2017

Evercore (NYSE: EVR) announced today that Tannon Krumpelman will join the Firm's Investment Banking business as a Senior Managing Director.  Mr. Krumpelman will focus on advising clients in the financial services sector and, in addition, will lead Evercore's advisory business for banking and specialty finance companies in the Americas.  He will be based in New York.

Mr. Krumpelman has been a trusted advisor to clients in the financial services industry for nearly two decades.  In particular, he has advised on a number of the most notable recent M&A and capital markets transactions in the bank sector.  He will join from UBS, where he was a Managing Director and Head of Banks for the Americas.  Prior to joining UBS in 2014, Mr. Krumpelman was a Managing Director in the Financial Institutions Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he worked for ten years.  He began his investment banking career at J.P. Morgan.
