New York Sports Clubs (NYSC) Donates Over $10,000 in Cash and Goods to City Harvest this Holiday Season

NEW YORK, Dec. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- New York Sports Clubs (NYSC), owned by Town Sports International Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLUB) is partnering with City Harvest to help combat hunger in the most heavily populated area in the nation. City Harvest, which pioneered food rescue in 1982, helps feed the nearly 1.4 million New Yorkers struggling to put meals on their tables. New York Sports Clubs is lending its support with a $10,000 monetary donation along with setting up food donation centers at all 52 NYSC locations in Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island and the Bronx. City Harvest food donation boxes will be set up in clubs from December 8, 2015– January 5, 2016.

The company-wide initiative of partnering with local charities to fight hunger extends to Boston Sports Clubs, Washington Sports Clubs and Philadelphia Sports Clubs. Food donation centers will be set up in all 153 locations throughout the Northeast.
