NEW YORK, Dec. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Kids Foot Locker, part of New York-based specialty athletic retailer Foot Locker, Inc. (NYSE: FL), and NBA star Kyrie Irving, kick off the holiday season with a new commercial titled, "Not So Different." Offering the latest and greatest gifts for kids this holiday season, Kids Foot Locker's 30-second spot showcases the hottest gear from Nike, including Irving's Signature Nike shoe.

In the spot, Irving runs into a young fan carrying Kids Foot Locker bags while shopping for holiday gifts at Foot Locker. The boy is excited that he has something in common with the pro athlete, but little does he know that they may have much more in common than they both realize. The spot simultaneously follows both shoppers as they go through the exact same experiences while spending the day at the mall.

"Kids Foot Locker strives to always provide the best gear and experiences for kids," said Stacy Cunningham, vice president of marketing. "This holiday season is no exception and we are especially proud to continue our partnership with Kyrie for this spot that will leave kids imagining themselves as their favorite athlete."

"I've always been appreciative of the partnership with Foot Locker," Irving said. "I had an amazing time working on the 'Week of Greatness' campaign for Kids Foot Locker this year and couldn't pass up collaborating with them on their holiday spot. This spot hit home for me because it wasn't too long ago that I was that kid!"

The ad features Nike footwear, apparel and accessories available nationwide at Kids Foot Locker stores and kidsfootlocker.com.

The spot was created by worldwide agency BBDO.
