NORILSK NICKEL BOARD OF DIRECTORS RECOMMENDS DIVIDEND FOR FY 2016

Moscow - The Board of Directors of PJSC «MMC «Norilsk Nickel», one of the largest refined nickel and palladium producer in the world, has recommended for the Annual General Meeting of shareholders (AGM) approval the dividend payment for the full financial year 2016 in the amount of RUB 446.10 per ordinary share (approximately USD 7.83 at the RUB/USD exchange rate the Russian Central Bank as of 28.04.2017).

The total dividend distribution will amount to RUB 70.6 billion (approximately USD 1.2 billion at the RUB/USD exchange rate of the Russian Central Bank as of 28.04.2017).

The Board of Directors has proposed to set the interim dividend record date (the list of shareholders entitled to the interim dividend) on June 23, 2017. The AGM will be held on June 9, 2017.

This announcement contains inside information in accordance with Article 7 of EU Regulation 596/2014 of 16 April 2014.
