Design Within Reach Opens an Outlet Store in Greater Los Angeles

STAMFORD, Conn., Aug. 3, 2017

Located a little more than 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles and just off U.S. Route 101, the DWR Oxnard Outlet is considerably closer to the City of Angels than the company's previous location in Palm Springs. A design enthusiast's dream, it showcases more than 17,000 square feet of merchandise priced to move quickly.

"We're thrilled to open a new DWR Outlet on the West Coast," says DWR President John McPhee. "We've been looking for a location within Greater Los Angeles since we left Palm Springs in 2011, and the Oxnard space is well positioned to become a destination for bargain-hunting design lovers."

The new Oxnard Outlet is stocked with products culled from the company's supply of one-of-a-kind samples, overstocked items, customer returns and pieces with minor scratches or dents. Customers can expect to find products for indoors and out from manufacturers including Cassina, Emeco, Fritz Hansen, Herman Miller®, Knoll®, Loll Designs, Stua and others, as well as hundreds of DWR exclusive pieces.

August 19–20, DWR will host an Oxnard Outlet opening weekend celebration, during which attendees can enjoy food and refreshments and enter a giveaway to win an Eames Lounge and Ottoman designed by Charles and Ray Eames. The first 25 visitors will also be eligible to win a free gift valued at $50 USD.
