Data Respons delivers one of its best quarters ever and near doubles the operating revenue compared to last years figures. Both existing and acquired units are contributing to the development. - It is particularly pleasing that our international operations show such big improvements. The fact that we are succeeding outside of Norway confirms that Data Respons has an international business model, comments CEO Kenneth Ragnvaldsen in Data Respons ASA. Highest growth internationally Data Respons' international units are growing with 176 % and accounts for well over half of the group's turnover. Several strategic acquisitions are contributing to the excellent development but also organic (proforma) growth is strong with 28 % in the quarter and over 30 % year to date. - In addition to growth, there is reason to highlight the improvement of profits both in Sweden and Denmark. We have reached a new level and are reaching critical mass, and this will contribute to increased stability, says Ragnvaldsen. 11 consecutive quarters showing growth Data Respons received the largest contract in the group's history in the quarter. The contract is worth NOK 63 million and includes development and delivery of Embedded Solutions to Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace. - This is the 11th consecutive quarter that Data Respons delivers growth in order reserves. The growth is due to increased access to new solution customers and that average contract sizes are increasing, says Ragnvaldsen. The order reserve has grown to NOK 376 million in the quarter, a growth of 53 % compared to last year's figures. Already ahead of last year Data Respons has had three good quarters so far this year and has already exceeded last year's revenue and order intake by 10 %. Year to date EBITDA is showing an even better development and is up by 40 % compared to the entire last year. - Not only does this show that we have a well positioned portfolio of services, products and solutions in the growing Embedded Solutions market, it also show that we are a proactive and customer driven organisation - and we plan on keeping it that way, Ragnvaldsen concludes.
