CP deeply saddened by loss of former board member, the Honourable Jim Prentice

CALGARY, Oct. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - Canadian Pacific Railway Limited (TSX: CP) (NYSE: CP) is deeply saddened by the loss of former Alberta premier and past board member, the Honourable Jim Prentice.

"We are incredibly saddened to learn of the loss of Jim Prentice," said CP's CEO E. Hunter Harrison. "He was a tireless public servant, leader and friend. It was a privilege to know Jim and our thoughts go out to his loved ones at this very difficult time."

Mr. Prentice served on CP's Board of Directors from June 2013 to May 2014.
