Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG) Participates in the 65th Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung (IAA) Commercial Vehicle Show in Hannover, Germany from September 22-29

NEW ALBANY, Ohio, Sept. 20, 2016

At the show, CVG will be re-launching the Bostrom Seating brand for the European on-highway market. The Bostrom brand was prominent in Europe during the 1960's and 1970's but quickly moved into the off-highway construction and agricultural markets. Bostrom Seating in Europe was later renamed KAB Seating which remains a leader in European construction seats today.

Greg Boese, senior vice president and managing director, states, "Bostrom seats have thrived around the globe and we are confident that bringing the Bostrom brand back to the European market will offer customers the benefits experienced in other regions."

The new world platform "WP" seat line-up will be on display for a wide range of heavy and medium truck and bus applications including a new 'Slimline' concept for medium-duty applications, seating for both driver and co-driver positions and the LTSS, a specialized seat for low cab forward applications.

CVG will also showcase a new technology from RoadWatch called the RoadWatch Tracker for use in winter road maintenance applications. The 'Tracker' enables Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) data to be captured via a Bluetooth connection to a Smartphone. An app pairs the AVL data to road surface and air temperature data from the RoadWatch sensor and sends to the cloud for later analysis.

Various other product lines will be on display including wire harnesses and wiper systems for commercial applications. Attendees are invited to visit the CVG booth located in Hall 11 / Stand D09.
