CGI welcomes Mike Pedersen to its Board of Directors

MONTRÉAL, Aug. 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ - CGI (TSX: GIB.A) (NYSE: GIB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Pedersen as a new member of its Board of Directors. Mr. Pedersen recently retired from his role as President and CEO of TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®, which is a top 10 bank in the United States. During his time as CEO, the bank outgrew its U.S. competition, increasing profits substantially, gaining market share and building an admired brand. Mr. Pedersen will join the company's Audit and Risk Management Committee.
