CARREFOUR ITALY SELECTS ALDATA'S G.O.L.D. FOR SHOP REPLENISHMENT

OPERATIONS
 

Aldata has been selected by Carrefour Italy to provide the software

for the management of its hypermarket replenishment operations.

Carrefour Italy wish to establish a new system of supply chain

linkage for automatic replenishment which serves the specific needs

of its hypermarkets in Italy and, at the same time, wish to integrate

the new process within its existing business operations.
 

G.O.L.D. Shop Central provides the centralised automatic

replenishment functions and includes the promotion plan and warehouse

delivery optimisation. The system is interfaced to Carrefour Italy's

main systems for sales and stock updates. G.O.L.D. e-Retail is used

to communicate via Intranet between each shop and the central system.
 

Aldata's G.O.L.D. Partner in Italy, Etnoteam, managed the project and

the full range of services to support Carrefour Italy in the

implementation of the new replenishment system. The first pilot

commenced in September 2002 and the delivery to all hypermarkets will

start in February 2003.
