Sustainable Sàrl and Pöyry sign Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate in energy efficiency projects across Europe, targeting a volume of €50 million

Sustainable Sàrl ("SUSI"), a subsidiary of SUSI Partners AG, signed a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with Pöyry Switzerland Ltd ("Pöyry") to identify, implement and finance operational and energy efficiency projects across Europe. The total project value is foreseen to reach
approximately €50 million by the end of 2017.

Under the agreement, Pöyry will offer engineering, procurement and construction services based on their EPC Open Book System Methodology, leading to a completely transparent and highly cost efficient approach to assess and deliver energy efficiency solutions. SUSI will structure and finance the projects as the sole financier through the SUSI Energy Efficiency Fund (EUR) ("SEEF"). The fund is advised by the SUSI Energy Efficiency AG and managed by SUSI.

The cooperation will focus on the core EU member states. Pöyry and SUSI have already started initial discussions for the implementation of projects with a number of companies in Finland, where Pöyry is headquartered. With this agreement, SUSI is strengthening its ties to the Finnish market. Further projects, also outside of the Finnish market, are scheduled to follow in the near future.

The SEEF is the leading independent investment vehicle financing energy efficiency projects in Europe, currently deploying approximately €250 million equity for attractive investment opportunities throughout the European energy efficiency market. Andras Puskas, Vice President at
SUSI Energy Efficiency AG, on the agreement: "We are proud to have an international cooperation agreed with such a renowned partner as Pöyry. Protecting and improving EBITDA margins are a strategic priority for industrial companies. Our cooperation with Pöyry focuses on supporting these efforts by improving the productivity and the cost structure. With 100% of the investment costs being financed, undertaking such efficiency projects becomes highly attractive."

"Pöyry is very excited about this joining of forces with SUSI to offer a one-stop shop approach to the energy efficiency challenges of our clients. Our unique EPC delivery concept allows total transparency for clients with the added benefit of sharing any cost savings generated during the project implementation. I have no doubt that Pöyry's project implementation approach coupled with SUSI's unique financing scheme will be very attractive to our clients.", says Richard Pinnock, Executive Vice President at Pöyry Plc.

Alexander Rothlin, Director for the Nordics at SUSI Energy Efficiency AG, adds: "SUSI has significant structuring expertise across Europe with the necessary financial means to act as a strong and flexible partner for Pöyry and its clients. The cooperation with Pöyry is a great example for our commitment to sustainability through delivering outstanding operational and energy efficiency solutions."
