Evercore Wealth Management Appoints Douglas Dewey as Financial Advisor

Evercore Wealth Management, LLC today announced the appointment of Douglas Dewey as a Managing Director and Financial Advisor.
Mr. Dewey earlier worked at Barclays in New York, advising private and institutional clients on financial planning and asset allocation. Before joining Barclays in 2011, he served for eight years in a similar capacity at Bernstein Global Wealth Management.
Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Dewey worked for four years as the CEO of Murphy Healthcare Inc., a privately held firm that designs and manages outpatient surgery centers across the United States. He left the firm to return to wealth management.

Mr. Dewey is based in New York City and reports to Jay Springer, a Partner at Evercore Wealth Management.
He studied political philosophy at the University of Waterloo in Canada. He serves as Chairman of the Network for Educational Opportunity, Vice Chairman of Christendom Colleges, and as a director of the New York Men's Leadership Forum.
