Mr. Bali, 44, will be responsible for financial planning and strategy across Europe as well as managing the company's investor relations program. Mr. Bali reports to Dinesh Dhamija, Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Bali was a Director at HVS International, the global consulting group that provides consulting, valuation and investment services to the international hospitality industry.
Previous appointments held include Director of Finance of Taj International Hotels. In the period of his stewardship he oversaw the raising of $300m in debt and private equity for the group. He also coordinated the listing of The Indian Hotel Company Limited's shares on the London Stock Exchange through a Global issue of GDR's.
