(the "Company") has developed its first hydrogen reactor which is capable of splitting the molecules in ordinary tap water to generate Hydroxy gas. The Hydroxy Gas is harvested from the tap water on demand by the hydrogen splitting reactor. It is then used to power the Coates CSRV engines. A video of the successful first application to power a Coates 14 Horsepower CSRV engine can now be viewed on the Company's website at www.coatesengine.com.
CSRV engines operating on Hydroxy Gas do not produce any emissions whatsoever, and the energy is sourced from an ordinary water supply, making this an inexpensive and "green" source of power. Conventional engines designed with poppet valves assemblies would likely experience catastrophic failure in a very short time running on Hydroxy Gas because they are designed to run on gasoline or diesel fuel and there is no lubricity in hydrogen.

(the "Company") has signed a Letter of Commitment with a Chinese manufacturer and foundry casting company, which also owns coal mining companies in China, plans to mass produce the Coates CSRV industrial natural gas electric power engine generators and other CSRV products for distribution throughout China, UAE, and possibly throughout the Eastern hemisphere.
The Company has a number of products that it intends to produce in large quantities and has $57,000,000 in firm orders for these products and provisional orders from its exclusive licensed distributor in Canada estimated to be worth $1,700,000,000 USD per year.
The Company is expediting its efforts to get into full production here in the USA for distribution throughout the Western hemisphere and mass production in China for distribution throughout the Eastern hemisphere.

(the "Company") has successfully completed the first phase of R&D of designing and manufacturing the first Coates water splitting reactor that produces hydrogel or hydroxyl gas on demand that is used to power a Coates CSRV 14 HP internal combustion engine.
•Management comments, Our Company is developing innovative solutions addressing environmental problems eliminating the cost of fuel and electric power generation with our hydrogen reactor project. Water is the only source of fuel used in the reactor. The Coates reactor splits the water and produces hydroxyl hydrogen that is used as fuel to operate the CSRV engine. The next phase will be to adapt the Coates reactor to a home CSRV generator. Management is anticipating great future potential for this new Coates hydrogen reactor product.
•Mr. Coates comments, many companies and individuals are experimenting with hydrogen. For instance, BMW has a car operating on compressed liquid hydrogen. The only problem is the liquid hydrogen costs more than gasoline to produce, so that puts a stop on that. Other companies have busses operating on hydrogen sells that work but take up one third of the buses capacity and cost substantial amounts to produce. On the other hand, the Coates hydrogen reactor splits the hydrogen gas from water on demand. For instance, a 35 KW CSRV home generator would power the hydrogen reactor with a fraction of its output power to produce the hydrogen that the generator operates on. This would mean that electric power required for a home generator would be produced from water and the Coates reactor design is inexpensive to produce.

("Coates Hi-Tech"), its majority-owned subsidiary. The inherent complexity coupled with the cost and effort to concurrently support two publicly reporting companies were a major consideration in this decision. Accordingly, at this time, there are no longer any plans to conduct business or raise any working capital within Coates Hi-Tech. Manufacturing of the Coates products will be established under a division of Coates International, Ltd.

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J., Sept. 3, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Coates International, Ltd. (OTCQB: COTE) – Intending to enhance the value of the Company's common stock to the Coates shareholders, George J. Coates decided to return and cancel all shares of common stock previously issued to him for anti-dilution.
Mr. Coates stated: "I am very pleased to remove my anti-dilution shares of common stock from the number of shares outstanding. It is my expectation that this will enhance the value of the shares of common stock to our stockholders because it will reverse the dilution originally experienced when the shares were issued."
In addition, the common stock component of the Company's anti-dilution program in effect for Mr. Coates has been terminated, effective immediately. The estimated fair value of the canceled shares aggregated $2,181,483. This amount was previously charged to stock-based compensation expense.
Cancelation of Mr. Coates' common stock will reduce the number of the Company's outstanding shares of common stock by 35,037,131 shares. This almost 10% decrease in outstanding shares reduces the number of outstanding shares from 354,428,034 to 319,390,903. The canceled shares are being restored to authorized and unissued status.
In place of the common stock, the Company issued 57,747 shares of its Series A, Preferred Stock ("Preferred Stock") to Mr. Coates. As a result of the issuance of these shares of Preferred Stock, the Coates family members will continue to hold 93.93% of all votes.
