PCQuote.com's dizzying spin-off strategy
PCQuote.com is trying to tiptoe its way out of a sticky
situation. Its parent company -- which once bore the
name of PCQuote Inc. -- is spinning off the Internet
component, happy to rid itself of the drain on income
and raise some dot-com cash. Its planned initial public
offering has been amended five times and is now set to
debut the week of September 13.

Sicher ist mit einigen dot.com-shares geld zu machen,
aber wenn ein IPO 5-mal verschoben wird, dann wird das nur gemacht, weil

a) der Markt zur Zeit nicht günstig genug ist

oder

b)das unternehmen nie/noch nicht reif genug für den IPO ist.

also VORSICHT, aber trotzdem viel Glück dabei.
