Dyesol LTD, es geht weiter !

Um mich zu korrigieren:

Laut Appendix 3Y 2. Seite (hatte ich leider nicht mehr gelesen, da in der Regel ohne Bedeutung, sind die 525.000 Performance Rights von Ms. Swift nicht fällig und von ihr gleich verkauft worden sondern verfallen (2. Seite: "lapse").

Ich war mir bei der Sache nicht so ganz sicher. Und halte dann lieber meine Klappe.
Bin allerdings erstaunt, mit welcher Sicherheit du Dinge vertrittst, die du nicht gänzlich gelesen hast. Das ist für einige hier dann schon irreführend.
Leider kenne ich mich mit dem Handling von Performance Rights nicht aus.
Das hier nix Böses schlummert, hatte ich allerdings vermutet. Sonst wäre sicher schon jemand anderes Sturm gelaufen. Auch würde ich derlei unsinniges Handeln (wie teilweise angenommen) in der jetzigen Situation von Ms. Swift nicht erwarten. Die kann hoffentlich auf lange Sicht ganz anders profitieren. Und wir wissen ja auch, dass die Entlohnung bei D. nicht ganz uneigennützig ist.

Sieht mir eindeutig aus, allerdings sind die Appendix 3A/3Y nicht immer verständlich, insofern schließe ich eine falsche Interpretation nicht aus.

Und nun war's falsch --- aber wenn, dann stehe ich dazu :-)

dass seit Jahren fast alle (oder alle?) Optionen für das Management und Mitarbeiter die nicht kostenfrei waren, verfallen sind.

Das zeigt, dass all die schon über Jahre selbst gestellten Ziele bisher verfehlt wurden.

Mal schaun, ob nun die für RC ausgegebenen Optionen mit klar definierten und veröffentlichten Ziele Bestand haben und eintreffen.

Die Performance Rights, die bei der Ernennung von R. Caldwell zum Managing Director vereinbart wurden, sind ja aus Sicht der Aktionäre nicht gerade spektakulär:

Er bekommt 600.000 Performance Rights am 05. Mai 2017, wenn der TSR (Total Shareholder Return) bei 55 % liegt bzw 1.200.000 Performance Rights (= Aktien) sofern er bei 75 % liegt.

Macht man sich mal die Mühe, das auszurechnen und geht mal davon aus, dass es bis 2017 keine Dividende gibt, dann wären das bei

- 55 % ein Aktienkurs von minimal = 0,365 $ bzw.
- 75 % ein Aktienkurs von minimal = 0,412 $

Keine spektakuläre Performance für ein riskantes Pennystock-Unternehmen.

2 Fragen....

1.) Was meinst du denn mit "kurz vor dem GO" ?

Das "GO", wenn es überhaupt jemals eines geben wird, ist hier noch Lichtjahre entfernt!

2.) Was meinst Du mit "Firma überlebt"?

Diese Firma wurde ausschließlich von außen belebt! Das bisschen operatives Geschäft, was die machen, reicht hinten und vorn nicht um zu leben!
Hier werden auch gern von den Gläubigen die ach so massenhaft vorhandenen Patente angesprochen aber selbst daraus ist kein Kapital für die Unternehmung zu schlagen und wenn diese so spektakulär wären, würden hier die großen, wie "Tata" oder "Pilkinton" nicht mit irgendwelchen Investitionsplänen oder -versprechen in der Türe stehen, sondern würden es einfach tun!

Die Patente werden fast immer dann schlagend wenn zB Tata zu produzieren beginnt ob nun mit oder ohne Dyesol. Erst dann macht es Sinn diese zu beanspruchen. Da man dass aber fast immer einklagen muss - wird Tasnee hier eine Rolle spielen.

Oder Tata entwickelt eben eigene Technologien und Materialien bzw kauft diese von Partnern zu...

Warum denkst du den, dass Tasnee hier eingestiegen ist? Wegen der beschissenen Materialien und der beschissenen Technologie?

Tasnee will sich einen Zukunftsmarkt sichern und macht dass durch/mit Dyesol.

Ricoh Develops High-performance Complete Solid-State Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell Suitable for Indoor Lighting

Achieving safety and durability, and more than twice the generation capacity compared to existing amorphous silicon solar cells (*1)

Tokyo, June 11, 2014 ― Ricoh Co., Ltd. succeeded in developing a dye-sensitized solar cell consisting of only solid state material as an electrolyte, which substantially improves the power generation capacity under a weak light source. By using only solid state material as an electrolyte, the dye-sensitized solar cell ensures an advantage in safety and durability. In addition, this solar cell achieved more than twice the generation of electric output under standard white LEDs (200 lux) compared to the electric output of amorphous silicon solar cells which have high power generation efficiency for indoor use in the current market. Characteristics such as safety, durability and the ability to keep generating electric power with high efficiency under weak light make it an ideal candidate for stand-alone power sources (allowing power generation without an external power) for sensors which are expected to enjoy greater demand from now on.

The dye-sensitized solar cell is getting a lot of attention as a next-generation solar cell, because it can generate an electric power efficiently under weak light such as scattered and indoor lighting. A general dye-sensitized solar cell utilizes visible light absorbed by the pigment in order to generate electric power. It is composed of a transparent conductive substrate which has a porous layer consisting of titanium dioxide particles with nano (a billionth) meter size, a glass substrate which has metal film and iodine electrolyte encapsulated between these substrates. Despite being a promising candidate for next-generation solar cell, problems such as low generation efficiency, concern for safety (volatilization of iodine and organic solvent and electrolyte leakage) and durability (peeling-off of organic dye adsorbed on titanium dioxide) prevent it from being commercialized.

Ricoh found the solution to these problems by developing unique technologies in material, structure, and method for manufacturing. Since the structure of this solar cell device is similar to that of the organic photoconductor which is used for multifunction products (MFPs), Ricoh managed to make efficient use of its material and device technologies in developing this new cell.

- Safety

The dye-sensitized solar cell developed by Ricoh is characterized by the utilization of hole transport materials composed of organic p-type semiconductor (*2) and solid additive agents. Ricoh succeeded in filling up inside the porous layer consists of nano-sized oxidized titanium particles with hole transport materials densely by using Ricoh's unique film forming technology (supercritical fluid carbon dioxide (*3): film forming under SCF-CO2). This unique technology provided a solution to the problems associated with general liquid-state dye-sensitized solar cell such as safety hazards and the corrosion caused by the leakage of liquid and iodine.

The supercritical filling-up method enabled hole transport materials to be densely filled compared to the conventional method (electron microscopic picture).

- Improved power generating efficiency

Power generation efficiency of the dye-sensitized solar cell is substantially improved by optimizing the solid additive agents and the device structure. Furthermore, designing an organic dye in order to absorb the wavelength region of indoor lighting enables this solar cell to have high generating electric output. Ricoh's new solid-state dye-sensitized solar cell achieved 13.6 μW/cm2 power generation performance, which was more than double that of the amorphous silicon solar cell (6.5 μW/cm2). This performance indicates that the new solar cell has the highest electric output in the current market under the standard white LEDs (200 lux), and more than 1.6 times compared to the highest efficiency electrolytic liquid-state dye-sensitized solar cell (8.4 μW/cm2).

- Durability

Ricoh conducted various durability tests, which revealed that there is no degradation of maximum-power-output at 85℃ after 2,000 hours.

Ricoh believes that realization of a stand-alone power source (energy harvesting device) to generate power from the natural environment will be significant for the Internet society (Internet of Things: IoT) (*4). The number of things to be sensed is growing exponentially, which means it is essential for an area without power source to get electric power from the surroundings by using a stand-alone power source. Ricoh will aggressively pursue the application of solid state dye-sensitized solar cell as an energy harvesting device.

Ricoh will announce detailed information at "Image Conference Japan 2014" (The Imaging Society of Japan) annual meeting: June 11th to 13th). In addition, a solid-state dye-sensitized solar cell serial module using this technology will be exhibited at the Ricoh Booth of Tokyo Big Site of Design & Manufacturing Solutions EXPO (June 25th to 27th).

(*1)	Amorphous silicon solar cell
	A solar cell having a thin silicon amorphous layer of chemical vapor phase epitaxy of silane gas on the substrate: An amorphous silicon solar cell has about a 1.8eV energy gap, and absorbs and generates short wavelength light of 700 nm or less. Amorphous silicon is mainly used for solar cells under natural indoor lighting as the output under weak light is high compared to crystalline silicon solar cells.
(*2)	Organic p-type semiconductor
	An organic material having broad conjugated bonds (overlap of electron orbit of adjacent nucleus in molecule), which can electrify by moving electron holes (positive charges) on an electron orbit.
(*3)	Supercritical fluid carbon dioxide
	Carbon dioxide is a supercritical fluid (in a state of substance under temperature and pressure above the critical point, and has properties of both gaseous diffusibility and solubility of liquid). Critical temperature is 31.1℃ and critical pressure is 7.37MPa.
(*4)	IoT society
	Society of the near future, where all things will be equipped with sensors and telecommunication functions, and where big data analysis of mass intelligence emitted by sensors will be conducted for harnessing.

Die meisten Patente von Dyesol bezogen sich auf die liquid DSC-Technologie und die sind laut Aussagen von Dyesol obsolet, zudem werden nur marginale Mängen davon an Unis verkauft.

Die ssDSC-Technologie wurde führend vom EPFL (Prof. Graetzel) entwickelt. Und diese werden wohl auch wesentliche Patente selbst halten. Dyesol kann sie nutzen und wird sicher auch in Detailthemen selbst weitere Patente anmelden; doch ob das wirklich viel Geld bringt? Ich habe da meine Zweifel.

Laut Dyenamo gibt es mittlerweile über 3.000 Patente im Umfeld der DSC-Technologie. Die meisten davon werden wohl nie zu Geld gemacht werden.

Siehe #8661 (Ricoh) und Sharp hat auch schon ein Solar-Window im Angebot! Was wird dann aus Dyesol, wenn sie in 2015/2016 endlich ihre ersten Demo-Objekte vorzeigen können?

Finden sie dann überhaupt noch Partner die ihnen einen Teil ihrer Erlöse überweisen werden?

Zudem stellt sich die Frage, von wem Ricoh wohl Materialien bezogen hat? Wieder Solaronix oder eine chinesische Firma? Oder vielleicht doch Dyesol? Oder haben sie alles selbst hergestellt? Wäre interessant zu wissen.

...ich glaube schon, dafür ist der Markt zu riesig und die DSC-Technologie begehrt und noch  ziemlich am Anfang ihrer Möglichkeiten....schliesslich sprach ja Grätzel selbst von Wirkungsgraden von über 30%... Dyesol sollte sich auch nicht ewig Zeit lassen ...aber wie ich schon öfters mal angemerkt habe, wir wissen halt nicht was Caldwell noch in der Schublade hat....mit Nesli mag es wohl nichts werden, aber was ist mit der großen australischen Stahlfirma?!

aber es ist doch merkwürdig, dass man sehr oft den Namen Solaronix als Zulieferer für andere Firmen findet, während man Dyesol eigentlich nur bei Unis und Forschungseinrichtungen sieht.

Langsam kann ich mich des Eindrucks nicht erwehren, dass Dyesol den Faden verloren hat oder hinterher hechelt.

Konkurrent von Dyesol ist, na und? Caldwell selbst sagte das doch auch und hat in seinen Augen die Marktführerschaft aufgeteilt: Solaronix in Europa und Dyesol in Asien/Australien....dreimal darfst Du raten welcher Markt größer und für die Zukunft interassenter ist ;-))

...ich muss daher "guru 83" Recht geben: ...abwarten...schaun ma mal...und nochmal, wir wissen nicht was bei Dyesol hinter den Kulissen läuft....

Das stand noch vor kurzem in den Reports von Dyesol!
Nun, auf dem Treffen in Frankfurt kam das erste Mal die Aussage, dass der Konkurrent Solaronix Marktführer in Europa ist und Dyesol (nur) iN Asien.

Bisher habe ich erst 2 asiatische Firmen gefunden (keine Unis, sondern produzierende Firmen!), die DSC-Technologien versuchen umzusetzen --- und dummerweis werden auch diese beiden Firmen von Solaronix beliefert.

Vielleicht kann mir ja jemand eine asiatische Firma nennen die in 2014 Material von Dyesol bezogen hat (mit nachlesbarem Link). Wäre doch schön, auch mal Dyesol als Lieferanten zu finden. Mir ist es noch nicht gelungen!

Solaronix überhaupt etwas auf dem Gebiet solid DSC zu bieten hat. Dyesol sei doch die einzige Firma, die dort Material hätte und soweit sei.

Doch da Solarnonix nach RC ja Marktführer in Europa ist, konnte man eigentlich schon annehmen, dass auch Solaronix auf dem Gebiet aktiv ist.

Wir haben keinerlei Ahnung mit wem, wann und wie viel verhandelt wurde.
Wenn doch Tasnee einfach die beste Option von allen war!? Die Zukunft wird es zeigen!
Wenn die Neuausrichtungen zwischendrein notwendig und bisher alle richtig sind!? Was man bisher schon stark vermuten darf.

Was weist du/wissen wir schon von dem Solaronix-Weg bis hierher? Auch die haben nicht bei 0 angefangen. Oder es kam eben gleich jemand mit Geld und hat in einem guten Zwischenstadium angeschoben. Aber deshalb ist doch Dyesol nicht ständig abzuwatschen.

Wir müssen abwarten, bis es tatsächlich Produkte von ssDSC im BIPV-Bereich geben wird.
Und das wird noch dauern.
