das Unternehmen noch aus seiner Online-Casino-Tätigkeit verfolgte, nunmehr
erfolgreich abgeschlossen werden konnte:
** MIT BARCLAYS BANK GEEINIGT **
Die Barclays Bank stellte sich ursprünglich auf den Standpunkt, My Casino
schulde der Bank 934.000$ an Bankgebühren, die aufgrund der letztjährigen
massenhaften Rückbuchungen der betrügerischen Kreditkarteneinzahlungen
entstanden sind.
Michael O'Donnell, der jetzige Vorstandsvorsitzende von My Casino, konnte
sich mit der Barclays Bank in England nach ausfürhlichen Verhandlungen
darauf verständigen, dass die Bank auf jegliche Forderungen gegen My Casino
verzichtet.
My Casino ist jetzt, nachdem man sich mit der Barclays Bank geeinigt hat,
frei von Schulden oder schwebenden Verfahren und hat 3,2 Millionen AU$ cash
zur Verfügung.
Zum weiteren Geschäftsverlauf sagte das Unternehmen lediglich, dass die
Lösung des Barclays Bank Problems jetzt zu mehr Flexibilität in der
Entscheidungsfindung führt, weil man diese 934.000$ jetzt nicht mehr
bereithalten müsse.
** KAPITALERHÖHUNG FINDET JETZT NICHT STATT **
Im Zuge dieses Announcements teilte das Unternehmen auch mit, dass, aufgrund
der unsicheren Marktsituation, das aktuelle 2cent-Zeichnungsangebot
zurückgenommen werde. Eingezahlte Gelder werden an die Zeichner
zurückerstattet.

My Casino Ltd is pleased to announce that it has now formally settled
the outstanding potential liabilities to Barclays Bank.
In January 2001 Barclays Bank plc approached the My Casino group
requiring payment of $934,000 due to credit card reversals following
the credit card fraud perpetrated on the internet casino. Mr Michael
O'Donnell, the executive chairman of My Casino, commenced
negotiations with the bank including his personal meetings with
senior officials of Barclays Bank in England seeking a settlement
acceptable to My Casino.
As a consequence of these negotiations, a settlement has now been
finalised. Barclays Bank have agreed not to seek payment of any part
of the $934,000.
My Casino Ltd currently holds over $3.2m in cash. The company is
debt-free and with the removal of the amounts potentially due to
Barclays Bank the company has no significant contingent or other
liabilities.
The successful resolution of the Barclays Bank and other internet
casino related issues will allow more flexibility and scope in future
investment decision-making and will assist the progress of My Casino
in finding investment opportunities to restore shareholder value.
As a separate matter, due to the current uncertain market conditions
directors have decided to withdraw the replacement prospectus issued
on 12 September 2001. No shares will be allotted pursuant to this
prospectus and application monies will be returned forthwith to
applicants.
