151225 ABG PRESIDENT ANNOUNCES MINISTERIAL TITLES,PORTFOLIOS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The ABG President, HON ISHMAEL TOROAMA announced that under Section 85(4)(b) members of the Bougainville Executive Council must have proper titles, portfolios and Responsibilities.
And further, each member of the Bougainville Executive Council has within the area of responsibilities.
a) National government coordination and
b) Consultation and liaison with any relevant parliamentary Sectoral and Advisory Committee of the House of representatives.
Portfolios and responsibilities are distributed as follows,
HON ISHMAEL TOROAMA MHR, President and Minister for Inter governmental Affairs, SOE, Mining, Communications.
The President also is head of the Department of President and Bougainville Executive Council, Department of Minerals and Energy Resources, State owned enterprises directorate, ICT Directorate.

HON PATRICK NISIRA MHR – MINISTER FOR UTILITIES AND INFRASTRUCTURE.
He heads the Department of Utilities and Infrastructure and under it is,

c) ABG vehicle fleet management.
HON AMANDA MASONO MHR-MINISTER FOR FISHERIES AND CLIMATE CHANGE.
She heads the Directorate of Fisheries and Climate Change.
