Eine der Grundlagen für meine Schäthzung ist das folgende Trading Update, das ich als Ankündigung eines wesentlich höheren Gewinns als im zweiten Halbjahr 2009 verstehe, wo er 0,2 Milllion betrug - gegenüber 1,6 Millionen Verlust im ersten Halbjahr 2009. Würde der Swing wieder 1,8 Millionen betragen, ergäbe sich sogar einen Gewinn von 2 Millionen im ersten Halbjahr 2010. Insofern ist die von mir in #339 unterstellte Gewinnerhöhung um 0,5 Millionen von 0,2 auf 0,7 Millionen noch eine sehr konserative Schätzung.

Pre Close Statement
GoIndustry-DoveBid plc today announces its pre close trading update. The Board is pleased
to report that the trading performance of the Group for the six months to 30 June 2010 is
expected to be significantly ahead of the equivalent period last year. Improved sales from the
Group’s large corporate accounts are the main driver of the improved Direct Profit.
The adjusted pre-tax result (before exceptional items, share-based payments and amortisation
of acquisition-related intangibles) is expected to be profitable, representing a significant
improvement from the adjusted loss of £1.6m in the first half of 2009.
GoIndustry-DoveBid’s CEO Jack Reinelt said, “We continue to see increased usage of our
services from our existing and new multinational customers and stronger interest from global
companies in our integrated approach to asset management, valuation and disposal services.

AGM Statement

Neville Davis, Chairman of GoIndustry-DoveBid plc will make the following statement at the Annual General Meeting to be held at 11.00 a.m. today:

"The Board is pleased to report that the Group has performed in line with our expectations during the first five months of the year. For the first half of 2010 the Group's results will be significantly improved from the adjusted loss of £1.6m in the first half of 2009.  Direct Profit will be up year-on-year, and expenses will be substantially reduced.  With nearly 40 sale events between now and 30 June, we expect our two largest geographic regions, North America and Europe, to show increased Direct Profit and adjusted profit before tax.  Given the investments we are making in Asia for future growth, particularly in China, we expect Asia to record a small adjusted loss in the first half of the year.
